A change was needed you like it or not. The team was not following him and it was plain to see.

And changes are always risky so here we are.

Lets see if Paratici steps up his game for Sarri or whoever is next in the line, because theres wehere things ae going to be decided.
With Max we win atleast 1/2 cups and don't go out vs Lyon (thought the CL season and draws might have gone entirely differently with Max here). So that is what the change did.

Btw, change could have been done differently than downgrading the coach. Like, get the one that won you 11 trophies in 5 years some players he asks for. That would have been a nice change for starters

Ask Agnelli that.

I was already soaked waiting for Pep or Zidane, and he brought Sarri, who is a mismatch for this brand.

Even Inzaghi would have been a better fit. But he went for Sarri out of all guys

Inzaghi was a natural fit as the Allegri successor. But sarri fooled people with his failure to fall out of the top4 in EPL (despite his best efforts) and winning the UEL. There were a lot of coaches who were better fits, both short term (if Pep/ZZ was the ultimate goal) and long term. sarri was just meh

He didnt fooled me.

Just look at his antics in Napoli. He is low class. And we need gentlemens as our coaches, not commoners.

Allegri may be a better coach that Sarri but we were never going to win a CL with him. There's no point even mentioning his name again we were right to part ways.
You part ways if you have a replacement in line. Which we clearly didn't have. And had we supported him in the mercato like we should have, winning the CL would have been a matter of time

Pep is class btw. He was Barca coach for many years, and never said a bad word about Real.
Yes he is. And make no mistake, Peps also got carried by that Barcelona which won everything... but Pep is a guy with class, same with Zidane, and they have pedigree. they are football stars.

Juventus needs this kind of coach, a coach who will be listened by the amount of misfits we have right now. Someone who can say "Do this because thats how you win a CL, look at my cabinet"

Sarri is not charismatic enough to channell all of it thru our players.

It’s true he didnt win CHL after Barca. But his teams played fine football, and I dont recall last time he didnt win anything in a calendar year. He is a winner and he believes in his football.

He’s the one remaining anti-Allegri on my ignore list. For good reason apparently.
Remove him for the list dont be a hater.

Are we forgetting that in the first 3 years here, Dybala was fantastic, and that Allegri was his coach?

Are we suddenly forgetting this? And are we also forgetting that a certain CR7 came here last year, which required a total re-think in how Dybala was going to be properly used?
First 4 years, bro. Dybala killed it for most of 17-18. Just had a poor finish at the end, with the red card in the first leg against Real. But he started the season on fire and sent us through against Spurs in the Rof16.

lol

Just no. We played in two CL finals in his first three years here. We lost to 2 of the greatest teams of all time, with two GOAT candidates in their primes. In both matches it was 1-1 in the second half before Barca snuck out a win, and Real thrashed us. We were as close as one can get to winning the CL with Max. There’s absolutely no reason to think that with proper reinforcements he couldn’t have taken us over the hump.

This. The difference between Liverpool and Juve. They came close then they gave Klopp exactly what he needed and he delivered.

Allegri had 2 amazing squads when he took us to them two CL finals, was able to play much better football back then but the squad has changed alot and he was never going to win the CL with us this season or next. We had to try something different but we fucked up with the replacement and lack of a WC midfielder. We are basically the same team as last year minus De Ligt but add in Chiellini and Cancelo and we sucked almost a bad as this year.

any Italian manager incl Allegri is just a step side ways or backwards.

We actually got worse since last year, despite adding more quality. Only downgrade was Cancelo>Danilo, but we did that partly with Cuadrado in mind

@Post Ironic you honestly think Allegri would of done any better this season?
100% would have, with De Ligt, Demiral, Rabiot, Ramsey added to the squad. Both Rabiot and Ramsey would have looked far better under Max. And De Ligt instead of Rugani for the meat of the season unlike last season after Chiellini got injured.

I don’t think we would have won CL, but I bet a domestic double, with around 90 pts, and we’d be in the CL quarters right now.

We had a good squad in 16-17 with our double and CL final, but after weaknesses of the squad Max had managed to hide with his Brilliant tactics were exposed in the final, the club did very little to fix them. And here we are now. Instead of splurging on fixing our midfield after Cardiff, we slapped some bandaids on repeatedly. And then we hired an absolute fraud of a coach.

Anyways, it was probably time for a break for Allegri, he looked far too frustrated all last season and fought with the press too much, but we should have had a proper replacement in the works.
