Last season Ajax was a whole different level. They were a machine and the only reason they weren't having a shot at the treble was lack of experience vs Tottenham. Scoring record number of goals and having legs for days. This a freaking Lyon, 7th place (?) in L1. So stop trying to make your heros shortcomings justifiable by bringing up Allegris 1! in 5 seasons. That was the exception, not anywhere near the norm for us for five long years.

Dybala played his best seasons under Allegri, so try something else.

A change was needed you like it or not. The team was not following him and it was plain to see.

And changes are always risky so here we are.
