One awesome thing if he leaves this summer is we get rid of his pathetic medical staff too. One thing that has been a constant during his tenure.

It is high time for a change man. We have spent an like oil club this summer and playing the worst football since Conte's last year with us.

There's just no point loading up your team with €100M worth attacking flair and fancy every year when the coach doesn't have the ability to get them all playing even at a half decent level never mind getting the best out of them.

Football has changed. When coaches like Gasperini can reinvent himself and get his team to play a proactive style of football with a bunch of relative unknowns , I'm sure the best of the best Italian coaches can too. Even Carlo has had to reinvent himself to get Napoli playing at their best.

Agnelli is a smart man and he knows when he's committing big investments on the club, he does expect winning with a certain amount of style too. That is the only way to get a bigger worldwide reach imo which is what Agnelli is aiming for. Our vision and objectives have changed. We are at a different level now.

For the last almost four seasons under Allegri we have basicly had two half seasons were we played anything resembling good football. The rest of the time it has just been grinding out results. To have periods were the team plays less attractive is okay, but watching this shitshow week in and week out is just to much. Especially the last two seasons has been shit, and when you start getting knocked out in the QF or round of 16(probably), it just becomes to much.

I really hope that this year is Allegri’s last and we go in a different direction with a coach who plays more attractive football.

Before being a Juve fan, Agnelli is a businessman and he clearly understands what is required to thrive as a successful football brand in this day and age. He even referenced in an interview few years ago stating football has become more about goals and entertainment. Maybe the hard-core Italian football purists don't like but it is a necessity to be successful as a football brand today and got toe to toe with the biggest football clubs in the world.

Italy should be grateful to have a visionary like Agnelli who's going to change the face of Italian football.

I am really not surprised with the Guardiola links tbh. Won't be surprised to see him coach us sometime in the future.

How many tears will you shed if he is still here in September? :snoop:
It depends, if he stays and Dybala stays as long as buying a game changing midfielder and at least one central defender and a proper replacement for Alex Sandro, then no tears will be shed. He'd have a whole new toolbox to play with. But if he stays and the team is not satisfied, Dybala leaves and we get Marcelo and Icardi, then yes, it will be a total failure that will make many fans cry.

Dybala is probably gone either way. Unless of course Ronaldo moves on.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect Ronaldo to leave. Which is going to mean Dybala will, regardless of what happens with Allegri.

I wouldnt cry over it although it would hurt seeing him leave and then become amazing (The Henry rout...)
We can either sell him and get someone who will fit better or wait for next season and hope he fairs very well.
Either way we cant really bench a 100M player on a regular basis and if we do it means we should have a 200M player starting instead of him..

according to cds, allegri offered his resignation. it's unclear for me when this allegedly happened, and seems like a load of crap. they are also quoting paratici saying that they'll talk to agnelli after the atletico match and see what's next. :shifty:
BS IMO - Its the two yes thing he said and theyre doing a spin on it..
Anyway I do expect him to finish the season and then get a warm goodbye.
Zidane will probably be the one to replace him but I just hope it is true and that we wouldnt be getting another Italian coach as per our tradition

God forbid if we lose against Atletico, Allegri could be on his way out and hopefully replace by Zidane. With scudetto practically won he have time to adapt and find a perfect formula..just a though

Can we talk about what a choker @Mark is? He’s been threatening to ban you for ages now to no avail. A man like @GordoDeCentral strikes fear in the heart of all members because he seems like a guy who could snap at any moment and permaban you. Mark? A pushover, probably doesn’t even have the power to ban.

Allegri was willing to leave Juventus in the last few days but Andrea Agnelli cancelled all his commitments to convince the coach of staying at the club ahead of the game vs Atletico. (Corsport)
