This is totally on allegri.

I dont know what wa sthe gameplan, but the 2 0 shocked more us than them.

Why use the 2 mid in this game? Specially having khedira and pjnaic who is not a physical player?.

Not trolling or anything, allergi shitted this one.

Im starting to really think that we will not up to the next level with him at the helm.

We had 2 0 at 9 mins..... Srly

If Matuidi isn't fit to start the 2nd leg, I'd like to see Asamoah in that role. Allegri has 3 weeks to get him prepped and ready. Bentancur clearly has the talent and potential, but it still reckless and raw. That other thing that presents itself as an option looks disgusting in our shirt and should never be allowed near a football pitch.

Matuidi is the only good physical mid we have and he was injured. Huge difference. Khedira cant last 50 mins these days and Marchisio is quite anonymous as well.

We have Pjanic for passing.

Bonucci is more important if you play back 3. We dont play back 3 anymore.

But Pjanic needs protection from a good physical partner like Matuidi might be. Khedira is done now. Should not start at all and we all see that Marchisio is also past it.
Your argument has no credibility since we played a back 4 last year and yeah, Bonucci offered that alternative option of hoofing it to our forwards with accurate long passes. We don't have anyone at the back now who can do it as good as him.

On this forum, there's a vehement dislike for attacking managers like Guardiola, Sarri and Klopp. I know this because I've tried to defend them, and then got insulted into oblivion.

Allegri apologists have this belief that attacking football is against Juventus' philosophy and that defense should always come first. That is bullshit of course. Lippi didn't have us play like a bunch of manginas.

We couldn't even get out of our own half against Tottenham. That is not what Juventus is about, no matter what certain posters will tell you.

did we really have physical issues during the 2nd half? are we fucking tired after 40-50 minutes of intensive play, just like we were in the cl final?

i don't blame allegri for the lineup. with all the injuries, it probably was the best possible lineup he could field. but our nonexistent response to the pressing, and our soft play (especially in the 2nd half) is on him.

And like MikeM said in a previous post... allegri went with a overly aggresive formation he never uses. I dont undertand this.

He let pass games against benevento and sasusolo to try new things, but goes trolling on a game against totthemham.

Why all our attackers in the stasrting 11? Especially remembering full well what happened on the final last season. Why 2 man mid? He knows kedira is a ballerina. Why the fallout after the 2 0?

All on allegri IMO

Nah, don't project the aversion against you towards attacking football.

The technical level was shocking, but it just shows how key Pjanic is to that. When he plays like crap or is missing it makes a huge difference to us.

Allegri is probably more embarrassed than anything because whatever he was trying to do the players didn't get it or bother with it and it made us and him look really poor. We didn't play like an experienced CL team, and more to the point when things went against us we didn't look like veterans either. We looked like a team panicking and with no idea.

Obviously this will all be because Spurs are great and all the rest....yes, they are a good side and confident but the mix of personnel and tactical issues killed us. We've played some really top teams at home over recent years and honestly I struggle to think of a worse home CL performance in that category, a strong KO game. The Bayern one perhaps but we had a weaker team then.
It's incredibly frustrating because after the quick two goals I was like here, maybe here is where we show that we are a mature side in Europe
Strongish team? 3-0 and ciao ciao
Instead we fell into our shell and got overrun

See I can recognize Allegri faults, today we played horribly. I'm not a fanboy, there's things that annoys me as well, but that doesn't make Sarri better than him

Sarri is crap too. Too provincial.
Most italian coaches are outdated to be honest, with the exception maybe ancelotti who is a CL winner,

Nope, there is no projection going on. Attacking football is frequently mocked on here by the usual suspects, who see it as naive and dumb.

That’s obviously why the Champions League has been dominated by teams who play our current brand of football.

There are people here who are caught up in a narrative they simple can't let go off, I'll give you that.

He was failure at Bayern. He was very lucky to win CL with Real. I mean Ramos saved his ass last minute.

I like him but Ancelotti has his own drawbacks. I was really surprised by his Bayern stint. The fact players turned against him.

At Chelsea SAF Man Utd schooled him. With PSG he didnt do shit in CL.

You know why I liek Allegri, because unliek someone liek Klopp I expect Allegri to admit his tactical errors tonight and make sure they won't get repeated in the return leg.
