We literally wasted all of Pogba money just to pursuit Higuain.
Which is great but not worth that much.
We may have a decent XI but beside Marchisio and CBs we lack everything else.
What made me even more sad is that Dybala-Higuain did literally nothing. We did not even shoot from the distance.
So we had 4 attackers and didn't do anything in attack and in the process we went panic against their three man midfield.
But what worried me the most is the lack of aggression. We rarely went for the physical approach always standing in front... which didn't exactly work as they passed our players like ninepins.
4-1 God so humiliating. We literally wasted all the efforts done in this champions league campaign.
I don't get how!really! we change the man, change the team, change the men but always fuck up the finals.
What's the problem? how can we lose 4 consecutive CL finals like that? I mean somewhere somewhen must be our time.
Before the game I thought this is our moment. Everything was perfect for us to win.
Finally having some chances. Buffon retiring. Being at the end of a great cycle accomplishing with a CL victory would have lead those past 6years to worth.
Because let's face reality a championship doesn't change anything to us. We almost have double what the direct competitors have.
But despite this we totally lack on international field.
We had to win this final now I can see 5-10years before having another chance.
I just can't see us doing what we did again.
The Pogba money was a chance to completely rejuvenate the squad with 3-4 quality players but we bought a 29 year old who we can't create chances for and don't play to his strengths.

I like Higuain he's a terrific striker but his signing doesn't make sense when our team is so unbalanced. He's not magically going to do it all on his own

Forgot to count last one
That's one hell of a bad record.
Inter has 3 champions and played a big total of 5 finals -__-
To be fair

The last CL that Inter won, they were heavy favorites. Bayern dint even deserve to make the final in the first place.

With us, we faced the best team in Europe on the last two occasions. Madrid's and Barca's attacking talent and their individual brilliance trumped our tactical solidity. The team that has more match winners and game changers end up winning this comp these days that's why Madrid and Barca keep dominating this format.

It's really difficult now to knock a team like Madrid off their perch. Just look at their bench. That bench is capable of being starters in most top teams across Europe.

We need to do a Bayern and get Roma in a CL final.

Its what many here say, the mentality. First half was whst we wanted to see till the end of the game, but our mentality failed us and we went full defencive in the second. We play good all season and finally we think that we got that modern, kill them all mentality, but no, we fucked it up at the very end

Something about this man I just cant not trust in his ability. I had no doubt we'd comeback in Serie A last season and extremely confident that we'd go far in the CL these past couple of years.

Next season is our last chance to win it for Buffon we have to win it.

And EuroMax will lead us to it.

“That’s football. Real Madrid didn’t surprise me, they surprised all those who assumed Juventus would win. Real stepped up the pressure and to play against sides like this you cannot defend too deep.

“Miralem Pjanic had to come off, as he had a knee problem. Every Final has its own story. Real Madrid have remarkable quality, but next year Juve can have another great Champions League tournament.”

Has he just confessed he expected Real to emerge as winners?

looking at our last 2 CL final teams, and how different our team is compared to two years ago, i think we just arent matching up well to this Madrid team. they are so strong in the middle, and attack the wide areas almost only with their fullbacks. 2 years ago we were superstrong in the middle, both physically and technically. we could keep the ball and outmuscle them. this time they just overrun us through the middle. with Barca its the opposite, Neymar and Messi are incredible wide players,, but we managed to stop them with our double flanks, and they couldnt do much through the middle. 2 years ago they just spread us wide by forcing the CMs and CBs to come out and help. how fucking unlucky we are, having to play both these teams in both our CL final runs

Its a fair point, we had Vidal, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio. This time we had Pjanic and Khedira. And not much else. Vidal and Pogba added physical side. Vidal could have been useful yesterday if used right though, he didnt exactly play well when Bayern played Real in previous rounds this season. Also Marchisio this season is not as good as Marchisio 2 years ago.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Yeah, we lost this fucking final, but still got the double. Who do you want? Ranieri?
Sorry, honestly I was just devastated with the loss that I wished major change. But of course so far Allegri has been doing great.

I would absolutely keep him at Juventus. I like his football and attitude. And he somehow perfectly knows and respect Juventus mentality.
you're missing the point, all I'm saying is that there is no need to over exaggerate. We've been the second best team twice in three years now. A overhaul is not needed but better players do need to be signed. The rest is psychological. We have the worst mentality in Finals in Europe and we were up against the team with the best.

I don't think Allegri was at fault with tactics, we were fantastic in the first half, although like others I do question the team talk he had in the second.

we need to be able to play 2-3 formations equally good, to have the ability to counter such teams. the 4231 was perfect vs Barcelona, but vs Madrid it didnt work. I think the 451 we played last season vs Bayern would have been perfect vs this Real team. If only we had Pogba :sigh:

Respect for Allegri for what he has done, but his way of play is so so so frustrating....defence tactics calculations...i am tired of all that shit. For once i want to see an attacking Juventus, and happens what happens.
