Are people complaining about Mario (still?) playing as a winger? lol he nearly had 2 goals today if he had connected better with his head. I doubt you would see the bitching on this forum if he had scored.

I hate/like it how everytime Alegri changes the formation and that particular formation brings quite amazing results e get this false sense of hope that things will finally change for the better, only to be dissapointed the next fame whem we return to the same old shit 3-5-2. Regardless of how many titles we win, my signature stays!

Play pjaca then. Is not thatt hard.

But doing one sub in this game was weird as $#@!. Theres no 2 ways about it.

easy to explain.
Scared we'd draw and kept the subs for the extra time.

what i liked about Milan? their def was most of the time in our side of the green and the high pressing tempo when they lose the ball.

What I hated about our games? not being clinical enough.
We missed like 3 easy goals! 2 Mandzukic and one Higuain (was it him?) when Alex Sandro helped Meelan and saving that shot

Noones complaining about Mario, his attitude and what he gives to the team is exemplary. I for one couldnt ask anything more from him. However his not a winger and even you should know that. Because of how he plays, he can literally play anywhere on the field and that fact that Allegri plays him on the wing doesnt mean he is one.

It doesn't really matter if winger is his natural position or not. As long as he keeps performing in that position he can keep playing there.

Absolutely but despite his attitude and how well he performs, he doesnt have the skill to take on people, for obvious reasons. If 4-2-3-1 is our formation then it would make perfect sense to make use of pjaca more often, which im sure we will in due course. Having a wild card like pjaca ready to come on or start makes us every bit unpredictable.

Disappointed about substitutions, Allegri and we were loser in second half there was going to be a drop off in the second half like other juve matches.

He is not playing as winger when we have the ball, only when we defending to keep the shape and works his ass off to make it easier for the rest. Otherwise he tends to be point of reference cutting in from left mostly. We don't need him dribbling (tho he seems to improved at it) when you have Higuain, Dybala, Cuadrado and Pjanic who can beat their man consistently.

What I liked most about Mandzukic besides going into the box so much as 2nd striker, was how many headers he won defensively when Milan hoofed the ball. Got them shook.

Thats true, but usually those changes were made because BBC was not available, which is not the case this time. One can argue that this time we changed formation because Marchisio wasnt available and once he comes back we will go back to 352 and this might also be true.

But as a coach, why wpuld you change back to a certain formation when you made two very convincing wins with the current formation? I mean, i know that one of our mifs will have to be benched, but why not bench Khedira and let Marchisio and Pjanic play as the two mids? After all results are what is most important, and if 4-2-3-1 makes us play better then you should keep and saceifice a certain player if neccessary.

With this new formation, we're creating chances for fun.

And when you see Dybala, Caud, Mandzo and Higuain running forward at the same and waiting for the ball from the center or from the side - that has to be scary for every defender out there. That's how we scored the first goal against Milan.

Also, our pressing leaves very little space to the opposition, especially in the first half, so I wouldn't worry much that we will suddenly start conceding more goals.

Mandzukic and and Cuadrado's insane work ethic and ground coverage, combined with their significant offensive contribution, allows us to go 4-2-3-1 with a weak as shit cm of Pjanic and Khedira.

Put on Pjaca and that would have been completely unbalanced, not to mention he's not remotely as good as ManBro

I seriously think allegri was waiting with the subs because he expected we'd concede and go to extra time
what the fucking shit

He waited with the subs in case milan got another fluke. Which is completely fine since no one was completely dead or limping around.

"he expected to concede"

I like it alot tbh. He's also a remarcably good target down the wing to cross the ball to when switching the side. He's very good at controling those or laying them off.
Dybala's goal last weekend was a fine example.

It must be amazing for Pjanic and Bonucci at the moment. So much options to go for

Lol
Taking off Dybala for Sandro while we could scoring mor than two goals was a joke!
What flank was it that Milan absolutely raped last time, making their victory ?

Depends when and what we want out of the game. They both have a unique set of skills and can complement our team in different ways as and when called on.
Exactly.

If he is a winger, use him as one. What one offers on physicality, the other offers on offensive.

But the most important thing here is to try it, otherwise i dont know why we bought him if we are even using mandz as a winger when he clearly is not one, and not, defending doesnt makes u a winger.
