Tough game today

Performances like these fall solely on the coach. I'm confident that he will have the squad prepped properly for Atalanta

In Max we trust

He's doing the weirdest decisions this season.
1) Dybala playing so back at the beginning
2) Higuain playing like SS
3) He pushes too hard with Asa
4) Lemina. He plays very well like B2B and he only use him as DM
5) Lemina. After double yellow in UCL, he's dead to him
6) He knows who are the best players cuz he used them in UCL but in serie A he always does some weird choices

It's obvious that the blame will fall on the coach but the fact is it's a collective responsibility that started last summer when we sold Vidal.

Inb4 the we-gonna-get-relegated-squad comes in to ring their supersized alarm bell...
Know what? There is no need to do so. Why? Because chances are high that if you are able to see it, Max and the players can see it too.

Max knows we are not playing good. (no matter what he tells the newspapers)
The players know they are not playing good.
The non whining tuz users (including myself) know we are not playing good.

The difference is, unlike you we aren't freaking out. Because for some reason we are still on course in the league and in the CL.

One thing is true though, it kinda sucks that we aren't able to steamroll the league like Atletico, Barca, PSG, Pep's City and Bayern do it.
Pep's City no longer steamroll opponents these days. They look very out of sorts after the start to the season they have had. I agree with the sentiment.
No idea what Max was thinking today. Alves as CB with Licht playing as wingback was mind blowing really. That said, I'm not too worried. I think we'll pull it through into a working system by new years' and that's all that matters to me.

Good win against Genoa tenth in the table..we are not predictable at all 352 fo life yo! Injury no injury 352 overcomes all obstacles.
Allegri opening up a tactical school of one demensional systems where guardiola will be his understudy.
Force the 352,play Stephan at the back then when you are down 3 goals and then only then switch systems. Also play licht and alves at same time against world class Genoa. Guardiola has a lot to learn here.
For the people here who "aren't freaking out" know this, a coach plans then improvises, not vise versa. Max has been doing the opposite for some time now. He is a decent coach but this is not a decent team, a decent team would be lyon, spurs, arsenal who are happy with mediocrity. This is Juve and Max need to raise his level.

“I told the referee he was right not to award the penalty, otherwise the game would’ve been re-opened and we didn’t deserve that.”

This guy is seriously getting on my nerves. That quote is just beyond stupid.

Meh, wouldnt read too much into this game. We had won important CL clash days before so it has taken its toll on players. We had these type of games before when we'd lose Serie A game after brilliant CL performance. Just move on and win the next one. Thats what we tend to do, unlike Roma or Napoli that would usually collapse after suffering defeat like this.

The players were disgustingly poor. We didnt deserve shit playing so extremely bad.

He's rightfully mad as fuck after this shamefull display, not worthy of the juventus jersey

Poor mentality is a shared responsibility between the team and the coach

If we had won I really doubt you'd have said that :D

Absolutely disagreed.
The is coach is responsible for instilling the mentality and make sure the team the approach a game in a good way imo.

Look at Simeone, Conte, etc.

The players are equally to be blamed, they're the one playing though

A team that has given alot in the midweek and plays on determination and mentality will always have a poor post midweek game.
We are ravaged by injuries

it can happen that your players have an utter and complete offday when you lack a Roy keane in the midfield that personaly puts his shoe in your lackluster anus when you arent doing what you are supposed to do.

As a coach, one game like this can happen. This has nothing to do with Allegri

The next game, has to be completely different. Cause if this repeats itself, then its the coach responsibility.

Your theory makes it sound like if you have the best team in the league and dont win 38/38, you made mistakes you could have avoided.

No, every team can have an offday. Its the job of the coach to make sure it wont happen again

Why though? There's nothing to disagree with what he said. Both the players and the coach are responsible for the performances a team puts in.

There are no two ways to look at it; the coach is the one pulling the strings, he's the one in command. He's the one to punish or fire them up when needed. He's also the one who picks who will be in the first team.

It's his job to make sure everybody is in a good state of mind when on the pitch. He can't, of course, control what happens in the outside world, but again it's his and the players' responsability to, in a professional manner, perform as they're expect to.

You can't blame the players alone. You take away the tactical aspects of being a coach and what's left? Leadership, motivation, and sometimes bond. I've seen many and I mean many Brazilian coaches Through out the years who were truly tactically inept but were fantastic motivators and leaders. Sometimes that's all that's needed when you already got intelligent experienced players.

So Yes, players having a poor mentality is most definitely his fault as well.

We're having off days frequently all season, difference has been that we've been able to grind result regardless. This time it didn't work out, but the performance is similar.
