Wasn't hernanes a decent regista for Lazio for years? Why is Lemina starting ahead of him in that role? If anyone has watched him closely in the lazio days what do you think of him as regista?

No, he wasn't a regista. He played an AM, and quite good one. But now he's got no pace at all, so he can't play AM no more. And he is not able to play regista cause he is soft as as a cheese and doesn't have a vision of the Pirlo.
It's a really bad transfer, really bad.

The two or three games we played him there, he was very poor. He's so slow right now. Lemina had one good and one bad game in the same position before the game yesterday. Playing Sturaro and Lemina together basically killed any hope of having a functioning midfield.

I actually thought he played terribly. I guess a lot of people saw it differently, but I thought he was extremely reckless and couldn't put together a pass. I hope this guy improves but yesterday did not look good.

Allegris the scapegoat here. And I think most reasonable people will see it. If he got what he wanted and we were where we are, I would be the first to want this guy to GTFO. Fact is, he's taking the fall for a shit mercato and while his choices in this time are definitely debatable, I'd blame him more for not standing up to the management for the personnel he wanted rather than accepting a situation that was created when it really shouldn't have. You can't implement your ideas effectively enough when you have so many new players on the roster, have lost key men to injury and are working for a board that have no clear ideas of their own. Allegri is a good coach when things are optimised for him. Unfortunately, we haven't played to his strengths and as a result he's going to be the first to go. Even though he is not the root cause of this mess.

Of course the blame also lies with Marotta and co I've never hidden that fact, however many argued that Allegri is a good tactician better more than Conte according to some, from a tactical point of view Allegri has got it wrong in several matches this season, his team selection at times just screams out incompetence. At the end of the day this team should be doing far better than it currently is and that falls with the manager. But as I've also said before the management only want 'yes men' managers which is why I believe Conte left and why we will never take that next step to being a big European elite, at least so long Marotta is at the club with his provincial mindset and limitations. Shame that Agnelli and co will never recognise this, I for one firmly believe we are declining and the club only has itself to blame.

And it wouldn't be a big problem if only we are improving, but we aren't, we are still clueless and no matter who plays on the field we should look better especially against teams like Frosinone and similar.

We had weird mercato, signed some promising, good and shit players and most of us here knew it's gonna be way more tougher to win Scudetto again, but position we are in is shameful. I would give Allegri a chance against Torino and Gladbach and if we fail to win those games he should be fired no matter what, give me anyone, I don't care. We can't be more clueless than we are now.

Also for anyone blaming management for this season failure, I'm not defending them, but just look at some Allegri's choices and substitutions and it's pretty much clear who is the most responsible for the failure this season.

No, I honestly believe that Sarri has given Napoli a distinct identity and playing style. Same with Mancini at Inter, and Garcia at Roma. All of them have clear ideas and its showing when they take to the pitch. Inter maybe to a lesser degree, but their mercato had clear intent and didn't seem all over the place. Right now though, I am thoroughly enjoying Sarris work at Napoli. He is genuinely remind me of Lippi.

But really, allegri has a quakity squad and he is doing jack shid with it. I can understand losing against an spirited napoli.... but what happened in the udinese game...the frosinone one....yesterday....at home vs sevilla...Roma...

Good luck, but this situation is a psychological one, and such seasons seldom turn around. The coach and players have lost faith in each other and it's really hard to instill a winning spirit in a team with no mentality and identity, and it gets even harder when there are so many new faces and a $#@! all preseason to boot. I said it at the start of the season and I'll say it again, the best we can hope for is 3rd place, but unfortunately that's ever more unlikely because the top three teams in Italy have distinct identities and coaches and management's working in perfect tandem.

Sadly this is the truth. There are so many problems at the same time and it will be hardcore to fix them all on time to salvage the league. We will have to save face till the end of the season and start from scratch by signing the right coach.

Stop oversimplifying. You can't give two pieces of rotten wood and expect one to build a solid deck just because he's a good carpenter.

Allegri is ar fault as well. He's made his fair amount of mistakes so far. But maybe even the best of coaches could struggle when they're not given what they need/somebody takes away their core players.

Having said that, Allegri got to go. We need a new coach with a different mentality, one that can come up with a new system built around the random signings we got.

it's even more of a circus keeping a coach just coz we cant find better, either you have faith in him for the long run or you let him go and bring in an interim coach to get you to next year.

After 13 games this season I don't see a single sign of identity to this team. Everything just seem so random. The players are good from an individual point of view but there are no understanding, organization or chemistry between the players. I firmly believe that the best coaches gives their teams identity and even though I have watched all of Juves games this season I just don't now what Max is trying to do. Are we a possession based or counterattacking team? Do we play with a high back line or a low back line? Do we play through the middle or do try to attack the sides. Some unpredictability is good but not when you are confusing your own players.
We might win the next couple of games and we might even turn the season around and finish 3, do ok in the Chl because we still have a lot of individual quality but for me Allegri is not the right coach going forward. Therefore I think the best choice would be to sack him now and bring in a new coach.
If something could be arranged where Deschamps could coach both the France national team to after the Euroes and Juve that would be my first choice. Otherwise Montella for me.
