I would not want Conte back. All credit to him for the 3 scudettoes, but I just cant handle that boring ass 3-5-2 and his constant moaning and bitching. My pick would definetly be Montella. That guy got all the tools to be a fantastic coach.
I also don't want Conte back as well because we only remember good memories of him and I doubt that he will do the same again as his first time. But,he is twice better than Montella.

1-Ancelotti
2-Prandelli
3-Klopp
Just the number 1.
Everything else is doubtful. But the guy get a vacation and had some kind of a surgery in Toronto.Don't think that he will jump for our spot.Especially to deal with Marotta on his vages.

Na, he left them after his contract expired. Cannavaro got that job and proceeded to get fired. They now have Luiz Felipe 'I get multi million dollar contracts for no apparent reason' Scholari as coach.
you have to admit he has a pretty cool name. for a club president it's cool to have a Scolari at your club

Interesting. How do you quantify coaches abilities since Conte is twice better than Montella. Every time we played Fiorentina it was clear that Montella was the better tactician. Like Conte he also have the abilities to give his teams a clear identity. It could be interesting to heat why you think Conte is a better coach than Montella?

People wanting flops like montella and Prandelli  We might as well get Filipo Inzaghi
How did Montella flop. He did excellent in Fiorentina and Catania. He even did good in Roma in his short spell there. He has been recognised by a lot of other tactician as one of the biggest coaching talents around.

Keeping Allegri is the smartest thing we can do at the moment. When the dust settles a little bit, and if some injured players recover, he is most likely to get the most out of those players because they recognise his style a little bit more on returning from injury than they would a new coach. Might just mean we can still battle for third spot.

Would gladly take Ancellotti if he was available though. My favourite coach after Lippi and a strong personality who will get these guys believing they play for a big club. Unfortunately our management might want to save on his salary so it can reflect as profit on our books while we give philosophical interviews about not having excuses and 10 new players.

And we trash them very severely almost every time we met.
Maybe because he win the title that first year with a completely new team coming from a 7-th place.Maybe because he was a coach at Juve ,not at Fiorentina. He is thousand times better motivator of the players and have ultra clear ideas.MAybe he is stubborn but he is the best in Italy.Yes he failed at CL .
I can continue but what is the purpose of comparing this two.

Starts with the management mate. Its clear as day to me, that Allegri hasn't got the players he asked for. Pretty sure nobody in their right mind would let go of Vidal to settle for Hernanes. The pre-season itself was poorly planned. Just the fact that he's tinkering so much shows that he has no clear ideas for the players brought to his disposal. Which also is further highlighted by our pattern of prioritising opportunities over and above actual strategic moves based on position and tactics. Getting Cuadrado and letting go of Coman. Selling Vidal and buying Hernanes and Lemina on the last day, just show that we have had no plan halfway through the mercato. Feels like theyve reached their ceiling. If the club is to progress on the european stage then it needs people who know how to sell big and buy big in return. This is the kind of season I would understand if we were building a team from scratch, i absolutely refuse to accept the state of the team after the season we just had on the european and domestic stages. This is not the sign of progress. It is a sign of confusion and lack of cohesiveness between management and coach. Highlighted further by the way Conte left. Maybe an assumption at this point, but one can see where his frustration perhaps came from.
Good post. You seriously need to rethink if Marotta is the wright man for the job given his inability to buy big and sell big, and the constant looking for bargains instead of having a clear strategy for the market. I think that some of Marotta actions this year can be excused. A lot of our most prolific was getting old and we had to adress the problem. As you cant raise money skellig players in there 30 with high wages he decided to sacrifies Vidal to raise funds. I actually agree in that decision. Loaning Coman with option, not getting a quality replacement for Vidal and instead getting Hernanes, shelling out 18 mio was just plain out awfull. Getting Lemina and Cuadrado seems like great deadline and I am sure the Alex Sandro and Dybala signings also will turn out good if they are actually given a chance.

Would be an absolutely terrible idea to fire Allegri, IMO.

The club needs continuity right now, and of course he's more than earned the chance to work his way out of this mess.
