The point is, you don't expect the coach to bring results with whatever you provide him, which is exactly what you said.
Thing is, the squad we have should in my opinion at least compete for scudetto for sure, once the team has settled a bit. I know we have very different opinion on this though.

You need difference makers and strong mentality to win a league. I see neither in this squad except for Pogba who looks like Giannicchedda at the moment.

We've got enough strong mentality imo, much more at least than any other contenders, "difference makers" is extremely ambigious, but Dybala, Morata, Cuadrado, even Hernanes all have it in them, even if being very inconsistent at times.

And seriously, who of our contenders has a squad full of "difference makers"?

No you don't, but you do when turn a 4 times scudetto winner and a CL finalist team to a team wich will struggle to make the CL this season. You don't say at the start of the season that we are fine and now you change your tune and say that it's normal that we will struggle after losing vital players, guess what you were the one that released them. It only shows that you had no plan and no long term vision.
Says who? It's very early to make such a bold statement. Give it more time, then we can have a better judgment. I for one believe we will be definitely competing for the title this year.

You don't need 11 difference makers, two or three are enough. Roma and inter have a few. Mentally strong players we have? Apart from Buffon and Barzagli? Maybe Bonucci comes to mind.

Pogba,Marchisio, and even Morata , they are all difference makers , specially Pogba , but to bad right now he is in bad form , Marchi and Morata had some injures .

None of Inter players come close to Pogba,Marchisio and even Morata .

Icardi is better than Morata. And is very much a match winner. Juve of all clubs should know that since his sampdoria days

Kondogbia is on par with marchisio with far more potential.

Nah I don't agree , I would take Morata over Icardi , Morata is faster, have better shoots , better dribbler , while Icardi is better finisher , Morata was important player on CHL !

Kondogbia have proved anything to come close to Marchisio, who has best season of his life and was our best mf last season .

Marchisio is an injury prone, can not shoot, can not dribble and can not tackle. All he can do (for Juve benefit) is to imitate Storari role last couple years with us. That is become a team morale booster, a decent player when subbed in, a friendly player to fan. Otherwise I can see him play for Chievo next year along with Pepe.

These overreactions would've been selected as the funniest summer jokes if they were posted two months ago.

Icardi over Morata, Marchisio in Chievo

Should be sacked if we dont finish in top two and/or doesnt surpass group stages.
My least expectation this yr is a top two finish and a R16 in the cl.
No excuses for not being able to achieve that with this squad.
We've spent ridiculous amounts this summer.

Why

Only roma have a SQUAD comparable to us in my opinion
Because we have central defenders on the decline and Rugani is still young to step up. We have wing backs on the decline apart from Alex Sandro who is not familiar with the squad nor the league.

Out of all our central midfielders only Pogba can be a difference maker but he strugglng to find his form, the way I see it, is the mediocrity around him that is causing it. Now you will tell me that Khedira, Asamoah and Marchisio are injured but I don't see them as difference makers at all, very far from it.

Hernanes is inconsistent and Cuadrado while he showed some good signs, I am not sure he can be the one who takes the team on his shoulders.

We have two very talented forwards but they are very young to be leaders of a forward line of a scudetto winning team. Mandzukic is not going to make anything if he does not receive proper service and we don't have at all. Zaza, don't let me started now.

We looked chaotic, lost and mentally weak. When things don't go our way, there is NO ONE that is capable of doing that little extra that lifts the team up.

true on paper - but we don't have a midfield at the moment, and with marchisio probably out for a month, we won't have a proper midfield until the end of october. either lemina and sturaro show some true class immediately, or we could be out of the scudetto challenge right at the beginning of the season.
