Same goes for Osvaldo and, latest, Iturbe. Before we were linked to him, no one rated him, and after every outlet reported we were close he was the next Di Maria for the majority of the forum.
I think in Osvaldo's case most people were trolling the gullible ones. It's so tempting to rile certain members around here.

Some ppl needed Allegri so that they could appreciate Conte and realise Marotta...
At this moment we can handle a disaster, so its a good moment to have our lesson...

So I figured that whomever we signed would just be a two year deal so we could find a suitable replacement for Conte next summer. So imo we'll be inquiring with managers throughout this whole season and we'll terminate Allegri's contract at the end of the season if we do find our man. If not we'll go into a second season with Allegri if we secure CL.
Not true. Its clear they want a yes man manager. So long allegri achieves cl qual he will keep his job

Our team knows how to win, and we are adding new players of quality, why would this $#@! ? Is vidal, pogba, pirlo, tevez , llorente , licht, chellini, barazagli, marchisio, etc etc all of a sudden start to suck and not want to play?
Chiellini, Bonucci and Buffon were here at 2010, with Barzagli joining them in January 2011. Yet we conceded 47 goals. 27 goals more than 2011-2012 season.

We'll probably look inside Serie A for an AM or WF, maybe Pereyra, Bonaventura, Cerci etc. If we are going to take a chance on someone outside the league then there are plenty of young options, but we don't tend to give responsibility to such players. Unless it's a wonderkid rated like a young Kaka or Pato, but I don't know who is around that fits this label.

Supposing we do have ~€25m for the right player then it's right that we use it on someone (or two) with room for growth. What about Juan Quintero?
I would do it in a heartbeat, but i doubt Porto will be cashin' on him just yet....they can fetch twice that in a matter of few years....i saw Pastor'e name being mentioned, don't know if we can get him for 25 mil tho

whats youre point the squad has learned how to win, they wont just turn that off its ingrained in them now, they wont accept less
The motivator is gone. That's my point. Allegri is just like any other coach. We've been down that road with Del Neri, Ferrara, Ranieri, Zac, .... What baffles me is that you expect something different from this same shit

Our team knows how to win by having champions like Conte leading us.

And no not over night ofcourse (unless coach is way worse then imagineable), but after a season or two, it completely unrivals the club and the direction we are taking, just one poor appointment can turn things to shit, thats what I meant, and when I say shit I mean the seasons before Conte arrived (even if we are in alot stronger position/firmer foundation now). You know how we been last 3 years, the drive and motivation for succes, and how we were before that.

It doesnt take alot for something like that to happen, just poor decisions after another and failing to renew an ageing squad/holding on to your top quality players (who lets face is we would been hard enough to convince for the long term even without this cluster fuck), it can change so quickly, I seen it happen so often with other top clubs, from closest rivals Inter and Milan, to even the mighty Barca, poor management choices that gets ignored after big successes. We are standing on the ledge here, I hope you realize that, the next two years would been very precarious times even we had Conte still, but without? I'm afraid we may go back to doing this on whim/to stay affloat, which leads to more risk to falter. We can and hopefully will do the best out of this SHIT sitaution, but this is clearly a big drawback, all I'm asking of you is to not pretend otherwise?
