Stop comparing allegri and conte. Under conte we played many games like last night. Allegri is doing fine. Current Roma should be more worried about napoli chasing them then chasing us. I look forward to next Tuesday.

Allegri changed Conte's 3-5-2 formation during season, which wasn't easy task due lacking adequate players for other formation like 4-3-3, or the one we play right now 4-3-1-2. No AMC like Ozil. Kagawa, Cazorla... and hell there is no goddamn winger to relie on. Allegri can always go back to 3-5-2, has the players for it, even to much for my taste, but there is no point doing such thing.

We can only expect for some crazy team play in CL, if we wanna get some big leap on biggest stage. Regarding the quality we are not that diffrent or stronger/waeker than last year under Conte. Point fingers in Allegri for not making as much better than we were or blaming for draw like one against Cesena is just wrong IMO. If he shot that penaly instead of Vidal, than it be different story.

Even if we stuck to 4-3-1-2 for a long time and got exposed a la 3-5-2 against wingers, it'd still be better than watching 3-5-2 with 2 isolated as hell strikers being used as nothing more than distractions so our midfielders could get all of our chances.

And before some too cool for school fucker son'bitch comes in with the "yeah 352 was soooo bad winning us 3 scudetti" you can piss right off. Considering Milans 400 injuries in our first win under Conte, we had the best team by a mile every season.

Conte took over in a $#@! league with the best teams collapsing.

- - - Updated - - -

Now we see him bitching for the azzurri when he doesn't get his way.
Conte took over a 7th placed team where Inter still had most of their good players and Milan was a strong team. What Conte did is as miraclous as inzaghi winning the scudetto with this Milan squad.

Kindly insert anywhere in your post the luxury Conte had having the support of Marotta & Agnelli behind him and not the idiots Inzaghi has.

We had DP, Mirko, Buffon, Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli just to name a new all better than anyone on that Milan team now.

Vidal. Marchisio. This list goes on. Pound for pound we were stronger all around than their Ibra-Silva. They were already on their way down as a team and Juve had the hunger to not repeat again 7th place.

DP was 36. Mirko was decent at best (10 goals a season striker), Bonucci was totall shi* before conte, Barzagli was just a former non starter world cup winner, Vidal was unknow commodity and Marchisio was still struggling to find his best position.

Conte changed all of that. He made a wall out of Barzagli, made Bonucci alot better, inserted Vidal in the squad and made him the best B2B in the world and gave marchisio the freedom to run between the channels and score 10 goals that season.

A 36 year old DP was still better than Milan's attack minus Ibra. What player on Milan aside from Ibra that year had 10 goals?

Like I said, the players I mentioned (bonucci/barzagli) were still better than their defense minus Silva. Vidal wasn't an unknown commodity. Maybe to you and us but certainly not unknown to the Bundesliga or Bayern that wanted to buy him.

Barzagli was always a strong CB. Bonucci, if anything, was the one that needed to grow. Marchisio was amazing in a 433 hence his goal run. That's his best formation.

Hist how can you compare contes first squad to this milan squad? We had the same core players as we do now
Indeed.

Buffon, Chiellini, Barzagli, Bonucci, Vidal, Asamoah, Marchisio, Pirlo...all 3 years younger.

oh my god how did i forget Pirlo for free...he alone was responsible for dragging this team a lot with Vidal cleaning he way for him.
