I never understod why you rehired him, especially so shortly after you sacked him the first time.

And another strange thing was how he was allowed to stay on for so long, Pirlo and Sarri was fired for way less if we’re being honest.

Him not coaching for 2 years straight should’ve been a red flag as well.

Be honest as a bayern fan, were you laughing and thanking allegri for playing like a pussy vs bayern for 60 minutes in the first leg of that round of 16 game and the last 60 of the second leg?

Lmao I love the fact you're on this forum. Such a clear outside perspective of the game.

Thanks brother

Allegri taking Morata and Cuadrado off mirrors tuchel taking Kane and Sane off vs real madrid
Actually I was shitting my pants before the first game in Turin, mostly because you had played so long without a defeat and was it 16 wins in a row or so? Can't remember the exact details, but you were in great form.

We came to the game without any real CB's if I'm right, maybe Benatia was on the bench, but he was just coming back from an injury as always.

Benatia, Boateng, Badstuber, Javi Martinez were all out lol, so I never understod why Allegri didn't put more pressure on that backline with Kimmich and Alaba. Both who are not real CB's if we're being honest, especially Kimmich

Playing without real CB's really was the worst.

not only that we were fresh off an extraordinary 2014/2015 season

agreed, careful though Vlad is going to come here any second and tell us how juventus were completely out of their depth and dybala morata and manzukic would get pocketed by bayerns all star defense who included alaba and kimmich as CBs

- - - Updated - - -

going 2-0 down to bayern at home with alaba and kimmich as CB's is humilating. we didn't even put up a fight.

i ackonledge he corrected the setup between the end of the second half first game up to around 65th minute in the second game.

then allegri's UCL final PTSD kicked into maximum overdrive and we fell apart due to him.

If allegri started the first leg well, we had a higher chance of advancing that's all I'm saying lol
Lmao look @BayernFan

Those subs in hindsight were pathetic for sure but that game will always be remembered for Evra's brainfart in injury time

Single-handedly screwed up in what would've been a famous victory

Why? Even at this point we might see Klopp take 2 years off and that's nowhere near a red flag. With all the millions I don't see why wouldn't they chill off a bit.
Football evolves all the time. The longer you’re staying away, the bigger dinosaur, especially as Allegri seemed like someone who never really caught up.

to me this as biggest issue of allegri: when you play defensive reactionary game, you are going to make costly mistakes at the back because the backline needs to be 100 percent focused on not making mistakes after falling behind....which leads to making costly game changing mistakes.

if you focus on a attack based approach that encourages pressing and your forwards being allowed to breathe you wil see less costly mistakes in defense.

look at difference mentalities in first leg game approches between juve vs bayern/ juve vs madrid/ juve vs atletico

vs the juve vs barca game first leg.

how come when juve played attacking game vs barca from minute 1 things went smoothly against a star studded barca?

But it's not like they stop watching football, though.

I don't know. You might be right. I just don't see it related as old generation vs technology.
I guess it also has to do with personality, Allegri for instance was striking me as someone quite full of himself, not willing to learn or adapt.

Klopp have his flaws, but don’t see him falling off like that. He lives on energy, with the batteries recharged, he will be able to get back to his best with his new club.

Klopp, German. Allegri, Italian. Self-explanatory really.
