I want us to hit the ground running from the very first game.

I remember our players looked so gassed and out of sorts in the first months of last season getting out run by fitter teams and it gave us the worst possible start in the Champions League.

We used to sleep walk games in the early parts of the season winning them just through the pure quality of the squad so we could peak in March and win the scudetto.

Those days are long gone and with one game a week we need Max to get this right from the get go.
