Said the same thing last year. He had the entire season to right the ship, and should be on a short leash this season. Results need to come first and foremost, and preferably alongside improved performances like those seen in his first ~4 years here. If he can’t get us results over the next couple months he should be gone before winter mercato.

By November so that the new coach gets to work with the not going to the world cup part of the squad (not a small number of our players are not going).
I would also sack him if we lose against Benfica next Wednesday.

Allegri is known for starting slow and getting the team to get better once winter break ends. I don’t see why that wouldn’t happen this season.

2018-19 was the season it fell apart. Not 2017-18. That was a great season.

What I meant is that in 17-18 that switch in February/March didnt happen, we grinded our way through the season and had good results, but didnt reach our potential like we did in spring 2016 or winter/early spring of 2017

If Paratici had of listened then we would probably of cleared out Dybala, Sandro, Rugani etc years ago and could of been in a much healthier position now.

Ifs... maybe we wouldnt have won then the next 2 titles... Then eventually we would have won the last season or the season before. Pure guesswork. But right now he has a very strong squad that is underperforming and he has to act now and fix it. The option to replace him mid season are underwhelming though so Im afraid unless we completely implode hes gonna stay until the end of season. Huge fan of his previous work but since he returned he cant seem to find a fix.

Im not a fan of stats in football but this is so fucking bad.

It means he wanted to have a squad full of old experienced has been that would do part of his job for him to mask his deficiencies as a coach.

Allegri hasn't changed or improved his coaching style since then, let's be real here, there are system coaches even at amateur level, so for Allegri to be completely inept at implementing a system while being one of the highest paid coach in the world can only mean he is either simply not capable or he refuses to do so, either way don't make it looks any good on him.

Don't blame people who has started to think that Allegri chickened out from coaching Madrid and fleeced JJ to get his last big salary because he knew he would get exposed at other teams.

As a professional trained on the highest level and who is expected to compete on that level, it should not be excused that any coaches like Allegri couldn't implement any kind of system that can make a group of one of the highest paid athletes in the sports play their game decently and not looking worse than amateurs at their job.
