The 'modern football' arguement is so dull and overused in contexts like this where it's of no use.

Being reactive never was a synonym for defensive and never will be unless they change the rules of the game.
Let me try to explain it.

Being reactive is not a tragedy by itself, but it is a tragedy when the team is reactive BY DEFAULT. Which means the team struggles to switch to attacking mode when needed, because they play reactive even in games where they are supposed to be favorites. Real are masters of both proactive and reactive game, which is why they are so successful. But you will never see Real play reactively against weaker opponents which means that unlike us it is easy for them to switch to ultra attack when needed, as they dont slow down when 1-0 up but instead go to finish teams off by scoring more.

No, it doesn't mean that... It's simply a choice, that's it. And we weren't reactive all of the time that season too as has been explained by someone else here. We were just too good for everyone in Serie A before the winter break.

Lord Master Allegri got this.

Don't worry.. he will flip all those stats and laugh on everyone else
In the process
Making sure Juve will get no new fans outside Turin

Guardiola:"Tactics are to put them on the pitch to help them to express their talent more often. I use tactics to create some patterns so everyone can be more comfortable. That gives them more time to express their talent as much as possible."

They could say the same about you. That you care far more about Allegri than the club. What sort of football fan thinks what we’re seeing is good? Lol it makes zero sense and reeks of weird nostalgia.
It doesn't have to be one or the other, maybe some people see that the issues go beyond just Allegri. Did they play inspired football under Sarri and Pirlo? How about we actually see what this club looks like with the most important players actually on the field before calling for Allegris head?

By then, we might be out of the CL and Title race. He'd definitely have to go then, but he shouldn't be alone. Pube Face, Big Nips Papi, Blond Bozo and Chimichanga all need to join him.
