Did this guy at least improve our defensive cohesion and organisation? Nope.
Most of us have known for a long time that he is incapable of creating a robust attacking identity, but we were hopeful that he will have a positive impact on our ability to defend. A season later, our attack is worse than ever and we have conceded 3-4 goals so many times that I lost count.

Last time I really counted the games until the end was with Delneri. What a horrible season this became. From VAR decisions, to the players, to Allegri, everything was underwhelming. Nothing to get excited about.

Two games left and please let every youngster play; Miretti, De Winter, Pellegrini, Kean. Everyone who’s young and most likely will have some future here. We’ll probably lose those games but at least some guys will have some extra experience.

Everything aside, life just keeps showing Alegri that starting defend a 2-1 lead at 60th minute just doesnt work and its a pussy tactic.... whats the difference?? we lost anyway, but if he was braver no one would have held it against him. Now make a list of all the games where Allegri (or even Conte) threw a wall of defenders up at the end of a game and it worked absolutely fine. Who has time for it? I certainly don't, there must be dozens. It didn't work tonight mostly because of the ref, but partly it seems because of rashness in decision making that was a rarity with the old BBC defence.
