Pretty outdated and ridiculous take tbh

Yes the media is to blame for unwarranted hype of young players but the same thing applies to every young player playing in France, Spain, Germany, yet they produce one superstar after another dominating teams at 22/23 years old.

It's not just Allegri. Sadly this concept is deep rooted in most Italian football coaches.

He won straight 2 titles in one of the strongest Serie A seasons ever, but it doesn't mean anything, while Allegri has won his titles aagainst bang average Milan, Naples and Inter and he's the goat  Allegri also lost to Ajax and to Villarreal, even by your standards these both squads are worse than L'pool 05 and Arsenal 06
Such a crybaby. Crapello sucks ass. Everyone knows it.

Dinosaur mentality. Pragmatism at its finest. Actually, scrap that. That's just cowardice. Refusing to take risks and deploying archaic tactics + mentality. This type of cancerous thinking is prevalent across Italy - it's not just an Allegri thing, unfortunately.

Translation: Let's play an experienced and mature 28 year old, even if he is deployed out of position and absolute garbage and has been the entire season, because he can handle the criticism due to his maturity.

Lets use Morata as left wing forward so he won't be able to produce anything there just because i don't trust to youngsters and i won't adapt the formation that suits better to my players  mezoic era coach :touched:

i don't know the context and can't find the whole speech/interview.

that said, looking at it in a vacuum, even with all of his professional experience behind it (fact: most footballers peak at 27-28), that's a disappointing statement.

Apparently there are all sorts of coaches winning titles without top players according to RUS. Allegri sucks because he can’t win titles without them I guess. Ironic given RUS is a Capello fanboi.
Allegri sucked this season because he came unprepared, his tactics were poor and his unwillingness to apply high pressing alongside with high defensive line absolute destroys Juventus and it potential. On a paper Juventus has had top team by serie a standards, in reality Allegri sold it form the beginning of the season when he was using Dybala as false nine forward
What the fuck is this ? What kind of formation? What was the idea behind it?

Rather De Ligt's maturity than Pogbas and Dybalas

I love Allegri but his comments on young footballers are quite frankly embarrassing.

A 20 year old will never be more experienced than a 28 year old. But I’d rather have Gavi than Bernardeschi. If a young player isn’t trusted then they will never become an experienced player. The quotes might be out of context but they’re disappointing either way

That's why so many italian youngsters are rot in serie b and c.

The best player should play no matter age or anything. Its such a stupid statement. Sad to see that , and should also be a bit alarming for the club to have a manager who have that view on the youngsters.

I really hope that was taken out of context.

This is why I don't buy the "they're all not good enough" bullshit.
