I disagree, serie a was the best in 2003, it was already on decline ever since then...
Not really. Real Madrid began their dark ages when they were unable to get out of the 1/8 up until 2011 I believe. Serie A had AC Milan, Juventus and Inter who were really strong. The EPL was really poor back then and lacked quality. Serie A simply did not take advantage and suffered badly after the 'scandal.'

Even the best ever Juventus wasn't able to win back to back to back league titles like Juventus from 2011 til 2020, Sacchi's Milan has only won a league title once, Ancelotti's Milan has won 1 league title but 2 UCL's. Arsenal in 2006 was incredible squad.
