Anything less of a Scudetto and semifinals in CL should warrant our coach to be shitcanned, even if his name is Allegri. Supposedly he got more control of our transfers, why else would he come back here, with rumours of Real Madrid etc. Someone must be responsible for the shape of the team and its personal. The coach would be one of them. If the coach isnt having any say on who leaves and who stays at the club, then why are we following this club, then it is rotten to its core and will always fail.
We cant suddenly lower our expectations. Those responsible must go till we fix the problems.

So lets give him time to turn it around. He probably can.

I say he can too and no way Max should be canned IMO for whatever materializes this year. COVID really fuk things up for the big spending clubs. Just no 4th place and I see the rebuilding taking longer than I would like.

Not that I want to be a party pooper, but your team back then was way superior to the current on.

But yes, Allegri will turn it around sooner or later.
we will get through this Only 3 matches played yet

Allegri will no doubt be able to get a hold on the situation, but this Juve squad is probably the worst since calciopoli, or am I totally wrong?

Your central defense is decent, but your midfield is really mediocre at best. Alex Sandro seems to have checked out mentally for quite some time and your Polish goalkeeper maybe the same.

And Ronaldo leaving so late really hampered your abilities to find a class striker. Moise Kean and Morata just won't do it against the best teams in Europe I'm afraid.

It's probably time for some rebuilding years, Nedved and the other board members have been acting like amateurs in the last 2-3 years.
Morty’s almost always been class against top teams, especially in CL. Last season was the first where it was really the opposite and he was finally consistent against shit teams and poor in the big matches. Hard to say what to expect this year. He just had his best match against the best team we’ve played yet though.

Kean is a 21 year old coming off his best season yet, so easily could make a big jump into a top class striker this year. He’s at the age where big jumps often happen for players.

Of course Morty could also have a shit season in the big matches, and Kean could not make any progress… but that’s kind of an unknown right now.

Dybala could also find top form. And Chiesa could continue his development into one of the best players on the continent.

The biggest issue is there a lot of question marks and “ifs” surrounding this team. We don’t have a lot of guarantees. So things could turn around and be great and we could have a really strong team or things could go to complete shit.

regardless, I expect us to be challenging for scudetto at the end, and competing well against all but the very best in CL. But you’re right about it likely being a bit of a rebuild over the next couple years. Chiesa, Locatelli, De Ligt, Kean (and perhaps Fagioli and Dragusin next year) is a good core to start from.

A bit different as back then we had a midfield while now we kind of dont.
I still believe in Allegri until my hope gets completely crushed.

In any case - We really need another quality midfielder.
We are Paying for old misstakes, sitting with midfielders that no one wants! I Keep hoping for CL but we are not doing anything right now!

This will get turned around. Everyone chill.;)
Turn around as in win scudetto turn around or turn around in another sense like top 4? (Or are you being facetious?)

Cos unless we recapture the badge, it's not turning around.

Until proven otherwise, to me we're still the favorites. Best squad and a good, proper coach. A better league coach in Conte is out of competition too. Horrible start to the season but this game in isolation with half the players missing doesn't mean much. Milan game is the one that can tell a lot.

And lol at people citing 15-16. We had to break multiple records for that comeback. You aren't gonna break records every time. This needs to be turned around quick.

I don’t see Deligt staying long, he’s a Raiola client
Nor do I unless we do make a Haaland style investment next summer. Hopefully @italiacalcio10 is right and our finances our in great shape for a couple very big splashes next summer. If we could somehow add a Haaland/Vlahovic, plus a top class midfielder to partner Locatelli next summer, I think we shall be in great shape going forward and it will increase the likelihood of keeping MdL. If not, he’s gone next summer or the one after at the latest.

Allegri: “Tonight the team took a huge step forward. The important thing is to look for the first victory. On Tuesday we immediately have the possibility of the Champions League & we will try to bring home the first victory.”
I missed post match comments.

This is like what Sarri said after Lyon.

First and foremost sign a reliable goalkeeper which will help us grind out results
