Do you mean we played more like a team when Allegri coached us than when Sarri and Pirlo did?

Is this really what you are trying to say? I can't interpret your words.
I used to think so… but then I learned that under Allegri we had no style of play, no identity, no grinta, and Ronaldo didn’t score goals… :shifty:

Let’s hope he pulls something out of his ass, and he does it soon enough.

Ronaldo scored less of goals with him
We had no style of play. no identity, no grinta , yes for those 2 matches this season
Serious question: do you really believe in the stuff you’re saying? It’s hard to believe an adult bases a conclusion on 2 games in the beginning of the season.

We have young squad, it's important most of them start performing. Finishing on top 4 should be our priority this season. If these players start clicking then we have a very competitive team in the future. Too bad Demiral was sold.

I didn't based a season from 2 games
I just stated the fact and that is true statement. You perceived it like that

Well, as previously expected, it's going to be a very big challenge ahead and in Allegri we must trust to make the most out of this group, after looking at it now maybe an even tougher one after the mercatto we've had in which you could easily say that we have been building more towards winning in the near future rather than in the present although a lot will depend on the availability and form of certain players aswell so it's quite early to tell where or how far can we really go as there are many variables...

Anyway, all in all even atm this team should still be strong enough to at the very least compete for the Scudetto up untill the last matchday or to potentially reach a UCL QF with a favourable draw to our side, having a great coach with a fitting formation and a well organized defensive shape could make all the difference we need in the end.

When Alegri joined us he didn't need to change too much drastically, he knew he had a winning formula, some things worked others needed tweaking and he was patient and methodological enough to make it better. Now the poor guy has a mess, a losing formula that he inherited, one he cant tweak easily and can't fit the puzzles, his gonna need a hell of a lot of time to unravel each component. In the meantime, we can do nothing but be patient, but this is a challenge he struggled with the last time he experienced at Milan, of course, not a like for like but his become better since then, i'm just so glad we got him to fix this, I'd have my doubts had it been anyone else.

If he somehow manages to win the Scudetto, he deserves a lifetime deal here.
Football is a fickle sport, if he wins it but then loses everything after, for the next 2 years in embarrassment, pitchforks will be out. I'm not sure about lifetime but he certainly deserves a position in the senior management.

Our best outfield players based on current form and general ability seem to be Danilo, Chiesa, Cuadrado, Dybala and Locatelli so they all need to start. The tricky part is that Chiesa and Cuadrado's most useful position is the same position which means one of them needs to take the other flank which means it should be Chiesa given that Cuadrado is always on the right. Bonucci and Chiellini when in form play best together. Sandro is really the only option for left back. So.....

-------------------------Szczesny/Perin?-------------------

Danilo-------Bonucci-------Chiellini--------Sandro

Cuadrado------Locatelli-----xxxxxxx-------Chiesa

---------------------Dybala-------xxxxxxx-------------------

In my view 7 of the starting XI should always be starters unless their form implodes. Who plays in goal, who partners Locatelli and who is Dybala's strike partner depends on form. There are 5 choices of who would partner Loca, and 3 to partner Dybala.

So if I was Allegri, I would work with those core 6-7 players and get the others to compete for the other spots.

The players in my view pick the formation. The above formation is a 442 - but could easily be interpreted as 4231 or even 343with Sandro and Cuads as wingbacks.

Best solution. Dybala is hopeless as a lone striker without someone like Morata and our midfield is shit, so we should play through the wings with Cuads and Chiesa and field as few of those useless fuckers as possible. It really does not matter who pairs Locatelli since they are all wastes of space.

At this point we have to seriously consider whether it's worth moving Chiesa further from goal for the sake of putting Dybala on the field.

You could easily say this is better: Chiesa-Morata-Cuadrado
