It's not better because the midfield can't create anything even if their lives depended on it. Even initiating a counter with a quick ball forward is too difficult for retarded Bentancur ans always in sleep mode Rabiot.

As much as I'm a fan of 433, it seems to me we can't play it, because we need to field two imbeciles next to Locatelli.

This squad screams 4231 for me with Dybala dropping back deep to help with moving the ball forward and offering some creativity. He would also be useful for the CF as neither Morata nor Kean are Ibra level forwards who can lead the forward line.

I'd start with Rabiot - Locatelli pivot behind Dybala and Chiesa - Cuadrado on the wings tbh. Kean and Morata to battle it our for the CF role.
Agree, while we can say 4-2-3-1 will give opponent more space because a little cover from our CM, but the advantage that we will have upfront will be increase by much. I will sell 1 midfielder for left winger (someone who can play everywhere in attacking position) to make this work even more

I watch some clips of Pedro Goncalves from Sporting Lisbon, he is very creative and always become a threat. and he can play every where up the pitch
CM,AMC,RW,LW, even as CF

A decent challenge for scudetto is reasonable, I just hope allegri can find a balance and calm the team down. Everything's possible, the key is not to play bentancur and bernardeschi, and we'll be fine

Do you really believe that? Come on Bro.

I'd take a top 3 finish and an extended run in the CL (QFs by some miracle)
With the terrible season we had last term and Max coming back, I was hoping for a Scudetto to get us back on track. Hence the disappointment if we don't win. Realistically I think we'll end up fighting for the title and not win it and CL QFs. I see us fighting for the title mainly because none of the other teams are significantly stronger than us nor do they have managers who are better than ours. So they will also lose easy points sooner or later.

I would say other teams are way more balanced than we are. only napoli has glaring weaknesses in specific areas of squad like we do.

roma, lazio, inter and roma have good balance in squad.

we have almost no threat in left wing. sandro and berna usless.

our goalie is error prone
our captain injured always, and bonucci is error prone
our CMs are VERY error prone and injury prone.
our CFs none of them are close to world class. none of them look like players that would do well under pressure or when game is not going well.

Allegri has a lot of problems in this squad. a lot will hinge on if he can mould arthur and locatelli in a double pivot in midfiled to control tempo and hope mckennie continues growing into the goal scoring box to box mid. rest of midfield is trash

Obviously anything less than the Scudetto is a huge disappointment. We have shitcanned coaches for winning the league, including Max himself. We cannot suddenly lower our ambitions. Therefore as a big believer in Max, I am absolutely fine with saying that we can throw him on the fire if he doesnt deliver this season, because I know he will.
This time, mister took control of our transfers, contrary to his earlier appointment where his hands were tied and they always dismantled his team.
Naturally that means that the players we are left with fits his style and tactical plans more and he can now show how good of a coach and visionary he is. I think many people are in for a surprise this season. Have some faith in Max please.

imagine we expect the surprise to be him turning arthur into a midfield meastro and locatelli into a box box menace.

instead what he will do is surprise us by always starting berna.

Agree, he got his say in our transfer mercato so there are no excuses that this is an average squad because his handprint in it to build this squad that will fit his style and playing a great gameplan. Our direct competitor are losing their top players too, the crucial part of their team

I hope he can turn around our underperform start and go for his winning ways. So winning the scudetto must be our target this season as we known that he can deliver it with ease for 5 times before with high colours using what given to him. It must be a better circumstances for him, if he eventually got say on our transfer mercato this time

WTF???

Do people really think that this Mercato Allegri had his say, that he chose to keep MDS and Rugani???
Yes, he choose Rugani over Demiral and Dragusin, he doesn't ask to get any other players to replace MDS. And MDS is his both flank depth at 3rd order so that is his choice

Even Torino coach like Juric screaming to their management that he need certain players so he can play his style. They react by getting Praet, Brekalo and Zima on transfer deadline dont know these names but at least there is some manager's voice and management action there

He does have a say. It's just that MDS and Rugani are on high wages (for their actual worth) and unwanted by other clubs. He also knows them well, and has a soft spot for MDS in particular since his Milan days. If nobody want them, Allegri probably thought keeping them around is just better than releasing them for free or loaning them out while paying their salaries.
