Which is exactly why this remaining 2 months will make or break Pirlo's coaching career at Juve.

If there are definite signs of improvement, we will surely stick with him but if things go horribly wrong, then he's getting the sack no matter what.

I do still believe we have enough in the tank to finish top 3 though which means Pirlo remains for another year atleast.
IMO Pirlo brings close to zero quality as a coach here. I'd like to see him gone as soon as possible. But cheering for Juve not be into top 4 is disgusting.

But the idea of Pirlo being here, him asking for specific players in the summer, seems so silly and stupid. Why not get a proper coach and ask HIM who we'd like to have rather than this guy who has no clue leading the squad.

Imo even with the current team we underperformed this season. Not only going out by Porto but not winning Scudetto is more than enough reason to replace him with the first chance we get. Yes, our midfield is shit. But Scudetto should've been ours at the very least.

I'm maybe being cynical/pessimist but I see us sticking with Pirlo even if we don't make CL as long we're in the upper half of the table :D

Its obvious their last ammo that has the slightest chance making the move look like a good one is to bank on Pirlo learning on the job and getting experience with us. Ffs even Paratici said we shouldn't focus on results and that winning is not everything

The management is completely dysfunctional and for me everyone part of it just want to save their job and not weaken their position

The thing people need to understand is that sacking Pirlo puts Agnelli in a very weak position given he took a huge gamble and hired him in the first place. He'd look foolish.

That's why i can't take seriously anyone thinking Pirlo won't be given at the very least a second season.
Just imagine how foolish he'll look next season when he has fo fire Pirlo in December when we're 8th.

Zidane is more tactically versatile than Klopp imo. And would be better able to adapt to our side as currently constructed and get immediate results.

I think Klopp could/would be a disastrous hire for at least a year, if not 2, while he tried to impose his tactics on this team. Disastrous, as in I could easily see us missing CL the first season. I said we have some players who could work under him, but would need to bring a dozen or more to fill out the team. Obviously not going to happen in a mercato or two. If this club has the patience to weather a couple very poor years, sure... but I suspect we don’t.

And dude, Allegri is easily capable of European success. He was within 45 minutes of a treble twice. We came up against two all-time great squads in the finals and we got overpowered in the end. Had nothing to do with his coaching, which was the only reason we got there in the first place. Klopp got to play Tottenham in a CL final. Lol. If only we’d been so lucky in 2015 or 2017 for some mediocre overachieving team to play us.
That bolded part is facts period.
The part about Allegri also, except I think we got a soft toward the end of his tenure but compared to this wine maker he is a god.

I believe Zidane would already gotten at least one CL and firmly believe he will do so IF he were to come.

Not as much as giving a rookie coach with no experience only 1 season, make it a make or break move, and expect him to deliver instantly. If he fails second season then they'll cut their losses but they'll want to show a bit of patience to see how he turns out so that it doesn't look like a kneejerk move before

Anyway ill stop, its just my personal opinion. Id be surprised but anything is possible

Delivering instantly would mean Serie A title and CL QF... Top 4 is absolute minimum and I dont think Agnelli would concede for anything less. Imo. Kneejerk move would be firing Pirlo midseason, back in December...

Lets not forget that Pirlo inherited scudetto winning team, 9 in a row, so we already pretty much downgraded our expectations. Anything further and Id start to doubt Agnelli's intentions.

no one expected us there either after Conte. Not a single person. Nor again in 16-17 with choker Higgy. Lol

We literally lost to Barca due to “balls”. We pressed them hard after scoring our first and could have easily had a penalty for the second. Instead they hit us on the counter against the run of play of the last 45 minutes, and won.
So why to spend 90m in a striker after winning the league 5 times in a row? To get the 6?

Allegri is the best out there, but we gotta sell dybala
Kind of Ironic that It was rumoured that Allegri wanted Pjanic and Dybala sold as part of the overhaul and he got the boot instead. We sold Pjanic and would probably gladly sell Dybala if we get the opportunity now. I love Dybala but I would gladly ship him if it meant that Max was coming back.

It was a huge mistake selling Pjanic, though. Or, maybe not, but it was a huge mistake not replacing him properly so now we're stuck with midfield that consist of 1 and a half brain cell.

I don't Pjanic would have done any better than Arthur. He seems to be finished. The state of our midfield is not a result of one mistake but rather a series of mistakes. Starting with missing on Verratti, selling Vidal for a bag of peanuts, wasting the Pogba money on Higuain, instead of a quality midfielder and finally, investing all our money and maybe more than we had in 34 yo Ronaldo.

Maybe if VAR had existed, we would've gotten that penalty

Considering that Pirlo had 0 zero experience it was reasonable to expect him to perform at a lower level than your average Italian coach, maybe same as an average Serie B coach. So far no surprises and I think we'll finish 2nd or 3rd. But if he fails to make top 4... A monkey would do better with that squad.

I thought he ruined dybala and Morata?
he did, but those are mistakes that can be fixed. every coach makes mistakes. and in case of morata allegri realized his mistake and madre morata starter in second part of 2014/2015 and we saw what happened ith him in CL and that amazing troll goal vs inter.

but he really needs to be given free reign over the club. we have a chance to build something incredible with him and he clrealy loves the team now. let him decide who comes and goes (for example it was his decision to sell bonucci after his bust up and it was a good one, but then who brouht him back? the directors, not coach)
