Adani has been provocative, however Allegri's speech was pure delusional. It's been awhile since he's saying that if you play entertaining football than you don't get results. Remember the interview post Parma? He seemed happy to draw 3-3 to prove people that if you play well you don't win. And now this plus he was blaiming Pjanic, De sciglio and Spinazzola mistakes too.
Honestly i'm starting to have bad vibes about this, i don't mind a "bad" season but when it is more important to prove your point rather than doing Juve's sake, nope i'm out.
Also he need to realize the difference between playing spectacular but inconsistent football, and playing well, with a tactical identity an idea on what to do when you have possession and overall a more propositive approach. It doesn't seems asking so much.
This is why I just don't want him as manager anymore, I don't see any identity or basic attacking game plan from him other than cross to Ronaldo

I think it's just boring and then irritating listening to the same things being said every week. Absolutely inane, I couldn't sit there and listen to it all the time. And of course it comes from pundits and wannabes, who all have a job to do, and it's often insidious, as is the nature of Italian football.

He must be annoyed that he's won so much and touching on a 100 point season, but at the same time there will always be criticism, and at Juve it all now centres around the CL. Try as they might to not make it an obsession it gets worse every season and it's a real pressure point now for whoever the coach is. What I didn't like about this season is how we seemed to be saving lots for big games yet when the big games came we only had a couple, and by the time we played Ajax we were in pieces, physically.

I don't really care about the style of football if there is a method to focusing the team towards March and beyond, that is what we say we do but it didn't come together this year. I'm not bothered about looking good most of the season, but the weakness in the domestic league allows us to coast more than we should and so now the target is to play at a higher level with more regularity, because it's extremely difficult to jump up an down levels between opponents.

I've said this for years, it's not like a light switch you can just switch on for the big teams

You need to start dominating the league opponents the same way so when a big game comes along you know exactly what you have to do

Then why man city has not progressed past quarter final in the champions League for the past three seasons despite dominating the epl champions League and domestic league are totally different competition

What other teams fail with is down to them and their coach, often it's small moments in the CL but we should focus on ourselves. We didn't go out on details or one moment, this year it was comprehensively to a team who looked fitter, sharper and more vibrant, a team who play in a far weaker league but have a progressive approach.

Allegri "Yesterday I got angry today Im calm. After a game its normal to answer journalists' questions but I can't accept lectures all the time. I accept constructive criticism but discussing the work of others where you haven't trained, i don't accept. Its a question of respect"

First deleting his accounts on Social media and now this. I don't think he can handle another season with mountain of pressure on his shoulder. He doesn't want to give the job to another person because he knows that person would probably make this team play much better and win domestic cups as easy. That could rekt his reputation in here so he desperately wants to counties as much as he can until he can achieve something in UCL.

Allegri: 'Football is a stupid sport'
Football Italia

Max Allegri confirmed he is staying at Juventus, discussed his reaction to criticism and Champions League performances. “Football is a stupid sport for intelligent people.”
The tactician sat down with comedian Fabio Fazio and his Rai programme ‘Che Tempo Che Fa’ and immediately commented on Saturday’s ugly live television row with Sky Sport Italia pundit Lele Adani.
I am calm today, I got a bit cross yesterday. You know, every time you hear this lecture on what you did wrong and ought not to be doing, it can wind you up and I am only human. I don’t go around telling you how to do your job!
“I accept constructive criticism, because it is part of the game, but after two or three times the same… I can give you my opinion, which may well be that you don’t understand what you’re talking about, but it’s still an opinion.”

“Winning five rounds early meant we were in a holiday mood sooner than we should’ve been, because the Champions League was hard to swallow. But sport is wonderful because you must know how to celebrate victories and accept defeats. You can’t win all the time.
“It is a difficult competition, there are teams who took many years before managing to win. Some point out Juve haven’t won the Champions League for 23 years and that is true, but over the last five years our level has grown considerably.”
“I’ve already said I’m staying, so I’ll say it again: I am staying at Juventus! I still have another year on my contract, then I’ll meet up with the President.”
There were some other details in the interview, such as Allegri confessing he’s still not quite sure how to spell Wojciech Szczesny, while it’s Juan Cuadrado who always puts foam in his hair during Scudetto celebrations.
“I’ve been a player and I’ve made every mistake. I always tell the lads, whatever it is you’re thinking of doing, I’ve already done it. That’s what experience is for and the rapport I have with them means I can give some advice.
“It’s also important to still play pranks and have fun, because I can’t be myself if I’m not having fun. There’s tension during games, you target objectives and now football is big business, as Juventus have a revenue of €550m per year, so the results mean a lot.
“I don’t really like all these tactical systems people talk about, 3-5-2, 4-3-3 and all that. I’ve learned that football is a stupid sport for intelligent people, because the simplest things are truly also the most difficult to get right.
“For example, you can say a player made a simple sideways pass, but it’s not simple, it’s football. The lower you go down the levels, the more players think they need to hang on to the ball to prove how talented they are, but that’s not football.”

Still, I feel the need to post this again from a blog:

"Allegri has named 180 different starting line-ups in 185 Serie A games"

That's a ridiculous amount of changing.

It doesn't guarantee success but it certainly does help when you play strong teams

CL is the hardest competition to win

I agree with some things but most is just the same ol' bs we heard before in past interviews. II don't know why some people think managers have to be some kind of super intellectual beings...

Just do your job and how about using that anger and obvious frustration towards the players to get them fired up before the matches, so they don't look apathetic as it's been the case countless times?
