I think my point is the utter ridiculousness of suggesting it is alright for us to settle for Europa League places with no consequences for those responsible. The very fact it will lose us tens of millions in revenue next year if it happens and deal a major blow to our financial rebuilding and our ability to attract top players with our already penny-pinching ways... well, those responsible need to be held accountable if it happens.

Someone posted our tackles per game stats this year as opposed to the last 4-5 years. It's by far the lowest it has been, and that is directly related to selling one of the best box to box mids in the world and failing to replace him. How is that acceptable behaviour on the market considering our results this far?

Beppe should be held accountable if we miss 3rd. And I've always been a big fan of his. But what he did this summer is inexcusable if we don't recover from it. Too much transitioning all at once. Losing Tevez for sure, and Pirlo, we should have absolutely refused to entertain offers for Vidal below an amount that would be silly not to accept. IE. 60 mil.
I don't disagree at all. I also feel the management hold more accountability in this season rather the coach. Not to defend Allegri here, but I do think he would have lot more clarity if he got the type of AM he had in mind, and I think Juve would be a more integrated unit by now as well. I can't see both be let go of in the summer, it will likely be one, and that will be the coach. Even though it will be a tad bit underserved. And sadly, we do have a buffer for lack of CL next year, which will be the sale of Pogba, but I absolutely do not trust the management with whatever money they get from that sale.

I see this the likely result of a poor season as well, which is why it is so bloody important we manage to scrape our way into next year's CL. Selling Pogba would be disastrous imo. Regardless of who they replace him with. And losing both Pogba and Morata in the offseason is something I don't even want to contemplate. But that is the likely result of finishing out of the top 3 this year.

Gazzetta dello Sport has reported today that former Real Madrid boss Ancelotti has been contacted by the German champions and is likely to succeed Guardiola should he depart.

The newspaper has also speculated over the future of Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri, Italy CT Conte and former Fiorentina boss Montella.

Montella has reportedly agreed to become the new Sampdoria Coach after Walter Zenga’s sacking yesterday, but there is a standoff between La Viola and the Blucerchiati over his buyout clause.

Gazzetta writes that Allegri is curious about coaching a Premier League outfit and suggests that he could leave in the summer.

The paper suggests that former Bianconeri boss Conte could return to the Old Lady hotseat after Euro 2016 despite leaving in 2014 in tense circumstances.

However, Milan are also reportedly eyeing up a move for the Azzurri CT should Sinisa Mihajlovic fail to achieve a top-three finish.

The newspaper believes that Montella’s situation could also play a part, as if a deal with Samp falls through he may also be sought after by the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri.

Montella would be a great mediocre Italian to replace our current mediocre Italian. If it were up to me I would stick with whowe have right now.

Max is the best we can hope for and the club should keep him

It's always the same excuse every year. "Next Summer will be crucial" and "Next Summer we need to focus on quality instead of quantity". Both Marotta and Allegri have to share the blame if we don't manage third, therefore both should be penalized.
First of all, this is the first summer where you can even say that Marotta hasn't succeed resoundingy, so your first sentence doesn't really make sense in this situation.

To your second part, from an ethical point of view probably yes (though I'd firmly argue that Allegri is the one most responsible for our truly horrible string of results so far, if anyone), but if the goal is a stronger team, then sacking Marotta would be counterproductive. He's shown for years that he's a very capable GM, sacking him over one chaotic mercato would be stupid.

I know

I mean, I appreciate the effort and the content, but it's crazy how long these posts are and essentially it's the same argument over and over.
Some people think that a good long write oozes intelligence.

You sound like we finished 7th place the last five years.

I know. More possession, more shots, less opposition shots, more dribbling but less Futbol.

This first shoot one goal its not just bad luck It shows a huge lack of experience aswell

Stats can be deceiving.

Truth is, even if we did allow more shots last year or made less ourselves it was different. The shots we allowed were often from less dangerous positions and also we didn't have as much long shots as we are having this season because we played more through the middle and Pogba was struggling. The shots that we did take usually went in thanks to Tevez.

There have been quite a few games in the past 5 years where we didn't play all that great, but we handled games a lot better, and that is down to both experience (of the league) and having a tight system. The coach plays a part here but the players are drilled and they are the ones who have to react.

At first I was pissed when Tuz people speaks ill to Allergi, but then I started to think these people can only dream to have a life and job the great guy having. That helps me to calm down and now looking at these fictitious criticism posts I can finally smile. :allegri:
