In Allegri We Trust

Max Allegri says people can't watch 'only the negative' side of the Juventus campaign, and stresses the positives after the 3-1 victory against Empoli.
The Bianconeri convincingly defeated the Azzurri in spite of going down by 1-0, in a match that continues building Allegri's confidence.
“The approach to the game was good,” he said after the match. “We lost a ball when coming out of our own half and we were left in a difficult two-against-three situation, that's why we took a goal.
“Our game still has to improve, but let's see things in a positive light.
“We're seventh, nobody expected this position at the beginning of the championship but we've had two victories in a row and a positive result in the Champions League. We can't just focus on the negatives.
“[Mario] Mandzukic? He did well, he put himself in the team's service. But the whole team did well, like [Claudio] Marchisio, who is coming back. [Sami] Khedira played even though he wasn't in top condition.
“As always in football, you must not become hysterical and lose your nerve, even when the moment is difficult. Tonight the lads did well because they stayed calm after taking a goal.”
Allegri was then asked if he thought that Captain Gianluigi Buffon's harsh words to the team after the 1-0 defeat to Sassuolo had helped them get back on track.
“Yes, these are the moments when thoughts are turned into words. It's normal that Buffon, who has such a sense of responsibility towards himself and the others, should speak in a certain way.
“But after that we have to take to the pitch and avoid taking victory for granted just because we're Juventus. We must all keep our feet on the ground and win with humility.
“Football is strange, Inter won seven games by 1-0 and we keep taking a goal as soon as somebody shoots.
“Our third goal was on offside? They told me that, yes. It happens. On the whole I think the refereeing was good.”

I don't know if you guys noticed but every time we had the ball on the touchline, I saw the players crowd and overlap with each other, almost not reading potential movement and passing patterns. I wonder if they practice any of this in training because it kind of shows that they're not used to playing with each other. The one upside i thought we had today was that we held a lot of possession, and that allowed us to move the ball around with a bit more composure and tempo and players were using their natural movement a little more effectively than we have seen otherwise. This goes a small way in at least helping us build some momentum and compatibility as we find a little more stability in defense, midfield, and somewhat of the semblance we see in attack.

Hate the international break. Fuck all that we have a string of results going in a favour and we have another two weeks off.

This guy has been destroying the good impression from last season.I don't think that he has at his disposal significantly weaker players. For me the only significant loss is Tevez. Pirlo and Vidal were utter shit. He keeps changing formations, keeps playing Morata on the wing and not using enough Dybala. In fact this seems similar to the stubbornness of playing Pirlo and Llorente so frequently the previous season despite both being shit most of the time. We have to improve significantly and this won't happen with Allegri not utilizing his most talented players.

I was never a big fan of Allegri!
What we need is a coach who can do 2 things:
1. Motivate - This is the most important thing in coaching IMO
2. be a great possession manager - I hate to say it but Guardiola would have been the best we can get in this period of time...

So.. As I expect Allegri to be fired only in the summer (unless he can restore the club winning mentality and performance...) the candidates are:
1. Mourinho - Wouldnt want him as he is a great tactical coach - probably the best of them all but I really dont think he is the kind of manager we need
2. Wenger - Always rated him - He is the manager of Arsenal a team that has always been over performing IMO. They dont have too many great players still they did make their mark on numerous times! Also notice Wenger and youth goes very well together!
3. Deschamps - He is a good manager but its hard for me to say what his style is. Maybe its just me and maybe there are others who think the same but I just cant say what exactly Deschamps coaching style is!
4. Pallegrini - Man City are rumored to get Guardiola so Pallegrini should be available - He is quite a good manager but I`m not overly impressed with him
5. Emeri - Maybe his Sevilla are not exactly showing this year their true potential but this manager did make some great achievements with them!
6. Andre Schubert - Well he has proven nothing but he did recover the Germans impressively!
7. Sarri - This is a very surprising mention but Sarri seems to be doing an amazing job with Napoli this year!
8. Garcia - It is being said that if Roma dont win the title this year he will be fired! I think Roma will win it and he`ll stay and even if not I dont believe they will fire him but I must admit he is a good coach!
9. Lippi - No need for introduction - I think we should definitely move on...
10. Conte - Never wanted him to leave! The best motivator in football today IMO and a great tactical coach! Would definitely be happy to see him back!

I`d pick Wenger as considering the style we are looking for and the focus on youth he seems like the perfect candidate.
Conte would also be a great option but since he doesnt want to come to a 100$ restaurant with only 10$ in his pocket it could well be a problem

LOL @ blaming Alegri for anything.....Our player rooster is slightly above average, so it is only logical to get those results as well. Yes, Fiorentina and Inter have weaker players than ours, but its slightly different when you are playing with no pressure at all as they are playing, you tend to overperform in those situations. Just look at our buys from this summer:

1. Mandzo - underperforming badly
2. Dybala - still finding himself
3. Khedira - inconsistent because of injuries
4. Lemina - did great but got benched for no reason
5. Alex Sandro - N/A

So tell me guys, what exactly did we improve from last season or did we actually downgraded which i believe that we did? Or are we expecting Alegri to do magic? This is exactly what happened to him at Milan, the management fucked him badly by selling his best players and then did not bring suitable subs for them. FORZA ALEGRI!
