Now also Antonio Corsa reports the same: the club is negotiating with Allegri. He apparently knows Calvo personally but who knows really.

Either they're picking up news from each other or we have more sources aligning because it's truly happening :xfingers:

BTW. Have you people noticed that a lot of stuff seems to be impacted directly by Elkann? He chose the board, he added Calvo as the main man and apparently he wanted Giuntoli. The last piece would be the coach: here we have a couple of weeks old news from RMC (reliable French source?) that Elkann met with Zidane who keeps rejecting now offers because he already has a club he will coach in 23/24.

Perhaps Jonny Boy really thought it all over and now puts it all into practice?

BTW. on VS now we have a couple of sources confirming that Elkann is ready for new recapitalization which would be needed if we take the plea deal and negotiate contract resolution with Allegri.
Yes I've noticed how he's taken it up the arse from the figc and soon uefa again

Allegri had his issues during his first reign. Yeah, it was tedious and defensive, but it largely got the results we needed. And surely having Marotta around helped. But here's the thing... he did far better than many of our prior coaches (see: Conte) when paired up against worthy CL competition. He even was praised at a time for having a rather chess-like variance to his gameplan to keep opponents on their toes.

We got tired of his Serie A grind and he was not reaching next-level in the CL, so we canned him. Fine.

But here's the strangest part about his second reign. It was almost as if competent coaches could have a career-ending ACL injury, because that what seems like happened to him. Sure, his second stint had fewer resources and more clowns in the Jj clown car to contend with. But routinely underperforming as well as tedious and aggrevating... that underperforming was his new trick. Which he then perfected in European play.

I don't know if it was the time off, the divorce, banging too many trannies, getting rejected by Conte's follicle doctor, or all of the above. But Samson had his haircut, and he's been a miserable coach ever since.
Sure there is something about being away from coaching for 2 years. But fraud didnt have a stroke or the alzheimers as far as we know. And he is clearly a stubborn, shameless, clueless, defeatist cunt, on full display. The only explanation is that this is him and it just didnt show that clearly (to most fans) in his first years here.

Don't know why you're getting excited? Elkunt is too much of a pussy to dismantle anything other than his own interests

You could say this about any coach in the past. Lippi won the WC in 2006. A fluke since he crashed in the group stage 4 years after. I guess we need to evaluate managers career based on their last year or 2.

Juventus will have an interview with Antonio Conte shortly. He is among the favourites.
Attention also to Del Piero and Marchisio to join juve in some capacity.
Chiellini more no than yes.

[@MatthijsPog)
Sign him on a 1 year contract, we out of europe anyway. Then bring back Allegri to make a push for the CL, we still be paying him anyway. Thoughts? @CrimsonianKing

I never thought I'd say it, but I want Conte back.

The dude is mean. He's nasty. He's insufferable.

But the man fights. We need to have some fight in our bones.

Conte back would be good for you in your current situation.

Wouldn't even be surprised if he goes on to win the title in his first season, then he's probably gonna throw a temper tantrum and leave as usual.

If we aren't in Europe next season id take Conte on a one year contract just to get us kick started again but I'd be worried we would end up stuck with him.

Anything more than a year wouldn't be worth it and we know how bad he is in Europe.

He is a cunt.
