Me neither.

However if he is really good like it seems than it would be nice to see that our board finaly is splashing some money. Still I'm sure that even if we sign him he will go on loan first. And one more thing is that we should look at more proven players/champions if we really want to compete in CL and Serie A.

I'm not too impressed with his record, though.
And i did watch few matches at the u20 WC and he strikes me as a very good player but certainly not a goal machine. He was the only attacker in Czech's formation and he didn't score a lot.
If i have to compare his style with someone elses style, then it's Alberto Gilardino.

Criscito is our product, selling his %50 was mistake
no he wasn't
Criscito started his professional career at Genoa C.F.C., for which made his debut in Serie B in June 2003 at the age of 16. In the summer of 2004 Genoa sold 50% of the rights to Juventus for €150.000. He played for the youth team of Juventus in the following two seasons, winning the Italian youth championship in 2006 and scoring the opening goal in the final match against Fiorentina. In 2006-2007 he went to play for Genoa, this time in the first team, proving himself as one of the best Serie B defenders and earning a place in Italy's Under-21 national team.

In January 2007, Juventus bought the remaining 50% of Criscito for a combined price of €7.5 million. This was paid by the co-ownership of Andrea Masiello and Abdoulay Konko to Genoa C.F.C., and €5.25 million. He also signed a new contract with Juventus which will last until June 30, 2011. :drill:

I heard it would be closer to 4m €. Not bad for a promising youngster. The 1.5m deal for Ekdahl could be a ripoff also. If he fails we just lose the 1.5m.

Fenin Next Juve Collect Young Talent

The Bianconeri continue to scour Europe looking for the best young talent and reports have surfaced suggesting the capture of Martin Fenin.

After completing the capture of young Swedish starlet Albin Ekdal, Juventus are looking towards the Czech Republic to secure their next young gun - Martin Fenin.

Sources close to the player indicate the deal is basically done, and that Fenin just needs to pass a medical before donning the jersey of the Turin club.

Fenin was a member of the Czech Under 20 team that competed in the FIFA U20 World Cup in Canada, where he impressed with a fantastic goal against eventual winners Aregentina.

Several clubs including the likes of Liverpool have been chasing the player Fenin but it looks like Juventus have won the race for his signature too.

Juventus sporting director Alesio Secco has met with the player’s agent Pavel Zika and the managers of his current club Fk Teplice and hammered out an agreement to purchase Fenin for the sum of four million Euros.

An official announcement is expected next week after Secco meets with his bosses for formally approval of the transfer.
