Here's an explanation for the delay.

According to catalan paper Sport, Juve and Barça are still negociating the 5% of the fee that should go to the Uruguayan club that formed Caceres. This fee has to be paid before the end of 2009 and Barça seems to consider Juve have to pay it, while Juve consider it to be included in the price....

It's not a huge deal ( ~ 500.000 EUR) so it shouldn't block the transfer but it explains the delay.

Well some Barca fans are morons.

You can't call a player like that a flop. He only played like 10 matches all season, some of which coming off the bench.

But there were many Juve fans that called Tiago a flop even though he only played handful of games. Tbh he looked awful playing 4-4-2, and it wasn't his fault. It was Ranieri's fault, the idiot that gave up on Cricito after only one game and one mistake agianst Totti, and somehow he keept playing grygera, who typically has plenty of mistakes in each game.

Indeed, I agree with you. I didn't call Tiago a flop, nor Almiron or Poulsen. Almiron didn't even get to play. It's unfair terminology for them.

Poulsen did have plenty of opportunities though. That's not to say he's a flop. I don't think he did terrible, but only a satisfactory job in a role that wasn't necessary for us anyway. We only ever needed him to back up Sissoko when he got injured and in contrast to what we had seen from Momo, it was kind of disappointing to watch.

Anyway,if that is true,500.000E EUR additional on a loan deal,which is not buying a player,isnt such a small fee.That is Barca obligation to pay the Uruguaian club,not ours.But it will be very stupid if we give up for that reason.I consider Martin fine player -defendant which will add quality to our defence.Very quality player.Barca is trying to get as much they can from this deal it seems,means to lose as small as it will be possible.
