Quantity might win you games, but quality wins you championships.

If we acquire Aguero and complement him with decent to good players, we will not finish 11'th. If we finish 3'rd, qualify for the CL, and add another WC player come next season, then we are going to be able to eventually and gradually compete for titles. That is called forward thinking; however, what we are currently engaging in is regressive construction.

At least some of Marotta's signings add something to the team and a base can built upon them Krasic, Quag, Matri and hopefully Bonucci and Litch. Not to mention the signings yet to come and what Pirlo may offer.

Almost all of Secco's signing excluding Melo were and still are a burden and offered little and now refuse to leave Amauri, Tiago, Iaquinta, Grygera with Melo being the only one who should be in our starting 11.

Marotta has at least tried to address our biggest weakness (fullbacks) while Secco ignored them since Serie B.

Marotta over Secco anytime for me.
