Togheter with marchisio the main reason city found it very hard to get in the game.

Truely insane workrate and pressuring, was basically pressing the entire city backline, goalkeeper and close midfielders.
Finished a magnificant build up chance, needed a good save not to score a second and was danger in the box all the time

Really really good game

I will never like this guy mainly because of Allegri benching Morata for him. The whole team plays for Mandzukic as he is rarely able to create anything by himself. We are soooo predictable and boooring. I don't think I have seen him in any meaningful play with Dybala. They don't pass to each other whatsoever. I think the game would have finished much earlier if Morata was on the pitch. I did not celebrate his goal as this will prolong the agony with him as a starter.I hope Morata's form won't deteriorate as he becomes more and more demotivated or we sell him. Losing possibly one of the best players in the world because of Allegri's stubbornness will be a crime against humanity.
Where do we get these guys? :sergio:

Let me guess. A muscle injury.
He's never had these injury problems before. It's strange to see it. Always seemed an indestructible type of player.

I think Allegri's staff is often rushing players back into matches when they're still not fully fit. It seems we have a lot of players just returned from injury tweaking things again in their first match back.

Second half he switched off again. All season he has disappointed by and large. Sometimes he doesn't even chase the ball like we've known him to. It looks almost likes he's just not in the game, and uninspired, but I have a feeling it's got more to do with some niggling injury that's plaguing him since he got here.

For what it's worth, his left thigh was wrapped in ice as he made his way to the dressing room after being substituted

The online jihad against the rational opinion is in full force obviously. Did you write this while in the toilet? Never mind, I know that your only reason for existence is to be the tough guy who defends the imaginable purity on a online football forum. Looks like this judging by your post count. There is life out there.

:agree:

Man. I feel so weird being a fanboy to Morata, Dybala, and Mandzukic.

Only Zaza needs to gtfo. And he really isn't all that bad either, just not necessary in this team.
:agree:

i like all 4 and im probably among the few who like Zaza, but if i had to chose a striker to leave this team, it would be him. i think if we sell someone, it will be Mandzukic though. its just a feeling, but i think he might like the idea of trying himself out in the EPL for some reason. maybe once Morata-Dybala establish themselves as constant starters, he will want to move on...
