He never truly looks fully fit, always seems to have another 10-20% left for his very best, often seems to be carrying some kind of little niggle. Like Morata so far this season, it has probably impacted on his game, hopefully he gets back to 100%.

This. Both him and Morata have looked not fully fit for most of the season. Morata when he came on yesterday looked in better shape than he had all season prior. Just a little rusty.

Mandzu will get fit and turn into a beast again for us.

His insane pressing game was on point tbh. Forget Tevez, this guy is another level

Scored the opening goal in the Supercoppa win too.

It's been a good, but not a great start to his Juve career. But some of the overreactions after his performances this season have been ridiculous.
I think the team generally plays worse football with him on the pitch. Especially dynamically. With him on the pitch the team's counterattacking ability is basically reduced to zero. I think he is still a good asset to have, but I don't want to see him as the regular starter

Both him and Morata can't start together. It's one or the other and I'm in the Morata camp for sure.

There's usually over 50 games in a season...plenty of games for everyone.

What does mandzukic needs to show you so you convince that he deserve starting eleven?
There is nothing he can do that will change my opinion..Nothing in his powers at least. As long as Morata is a Juve player he should be our starter. For me the difference in class that separates them is as vast as the Atlantic ocean.
Mandzu is not a decisive player on his own. He is too dependent on the creativity of other players and usually has no positive impact if he doesn't score. Which he rarely does despite playing most of the time when he is fit. He limits our options while he is on the field and the team plays ugly one dimensional football.

You know absolutely nothing about Mandzukic if you think this. He's one of the best forwards in the world at pressing, harrying, and harassing a defensive line, causing defenders to make mistakes, to give the ball away, etc. His workrate is fantastic. So even when he doesn't score, he tires out the defense, causes mistakes and bad passes that create turnovers and chances to score for others, draws defenders to him like flies to the dungheap, and contributes massively in many ways.
@Zacheryah knows what I'm talking about here.

The fact you say "nothing he can do" will change your opinion, just makes you sound ridiculous. So if he started scoring every single match he played, it wouldn't change your opinion?

His pressing game is one of the best in football from a forward. This isn't something new or out of the ordinary, it's been known forever about Mandzukic. While he was out of fitness here, it was a little lax, but if you watched the ManCity game it was fantastic, as it was during the first ManCity game too.

He ain't no Trezeguet...and that guy didn't do shit, he only scored goals. And was Trez better than Manzu? Yes, there's your answer you fucking moron.
