De Ceglie came up against Cassano a few times as well, he looked remarkably better if you ask me.

It's still early days so judging Motta might be premature, but it doesn't look promising. Not at all.

The blame on the first goal is too rude i think. Although i actually agree he is give far more room to Cassano, but the movement from Cassano is far from dangerous, Cassano try to move backward and then he suddenly give diagonal pass to the center and it's not in penalty area.. Actually in that kind of situation there is another player closing down Cassano while Motta covering and try to protect the flank if there will be support for Cassano... If we can blame Motta, why not also blaming Bonucci/Chiellini on that part for not watching Pozzi closely and allow him to shoot comfotably..

I would say the most avoidable goal is the second goal. I look and look again at the highlight and see how stupid our backline.. We clear the ball and Cassano got the ball, pass it to Palombo while no one of our MC near Palombo.. All of our players caught ball watching on Palombo and Cassano still continue his run and Palombo can deliver a good chip pass to him.. I forgot where is Motta on the part when Cassano run, can someone mention it..
