He has ambition, he seems determined to bounce back, eager to play and prove his value after a long pause.
He has convinced himself that he is one of Italy's greatest strikers and that he can score 15 goals/6months so def +20/season.
He is motivated against Bilan and the current Roma board/coach.
He has already accepted a subs role.
Lets see what he can do, imo showing glimpses of champion potential means nothing for a player of his age, maybe wasted potential, but nothing more.
He is highly inconsistent and imo, not as clinical as he thinks he is.
He is no more mercenary than Zlatan and for his criticism should be on his lack of consistency mediocre performances.
If he is unavailable for medical or ethic reason, just one day in the next 6months, we should not buy him.
The nationalistic enthusiasm for NT caps was there, as expected and it has confirmed my point for the actual reasons of this acquisition

Just watched the interview. I liked it. I'll still stay sceptical about him and hope he gives his best for us.
Well he did say something along the lines of "lets take one step at a time. I want to learn the mentality of the squad" when asked again about the NT. So he's putting the club ahead of his NT ambitions.
