His ceiling it (a lot) higher than what we’ve seen so far I think.
Ỳep there's clearly a good player in there. And tbh I fully expect any new signing, no matter how promising they look at their current club, to flop when they arrive here.

No point trying to replace somebody like Locatelli right now imo

His passing was great at Sassuolo
Vlahovic was great at Fiorentina
Paredes was great for Argentina
Bremer’s positioning was better at Torino
Mckennie’s passing was solid at Schalke

See a pattern here
Locatelli`s passing was great at Sassuolo but they had a gameplan - I still think he is a great player that isnt being used as we should. He also needs teammates who can make some runs otherwise he is wasted a bit. Weah seems to like his passes and he is a player who like to make a run from what I understand.
Vlahovic indeed
Paredes - No he wasnt great, he was ok and he was ok for us too - unfortunately nothing more than ok.
Bremer - He had the season of his life but he wasnt as criticised as he is now since he plays for Juve and now every wrong move is noted.
McK - I didnt watch him at Schalke but the truth is he is a player who has qualities but I dont see him as a good team player. He was a nice attempt by Pirlo but he just isnt it.

There is a pattern no doubt about it - Allegri`s style of play doesnt suit the players.

Good game.

Protected the defence well and played some nice passes. He''s another player that benefitted with Cambiaso's role. There was less onus on him to be creating from deep and he could cover the space behind.

Stupid yellow though, he needs to cut them out.

Tell me about it.
Nedved's yellow against Real Madrid is one of the most famous stupid last minute yellow cards in our history, but back then we were trying not to concede a goal that would rob us of a CL final. Tension was high and all that.
What is Locatelli's excuse? And even though I can't think of the exact moment(s) when he did the same or something similar last season, there were such cases when he received a needless yellow in the first or last minute of the match.

I’m just waiting for some Jj fan to lower the bar and tell me how good he was in the defensive phase of the game of that he made 1/15 good passes but hat one was immense. Brilliant. Euro champ exhibiting his floor clearly

Really poor today.

No idea why he was popping up on the left wing in the first half.
Probably neither does he know why he kept popping up on the left wing .
It must have been the dacdics

I think it was 4d chess.
Slowmo loca pops on the left , Bologna defence gets dumbfounded as to why would you put a slow midfielder against a fast fullback, while Weah wrecks havoc on the right . It didn't work cause Loca wasn't slow enough.
