Even though that was poor defending, Manolo had great ball control there, a good couple of touches, and great left foot strike.

It was a good goal IMO regardless of the defending.

I hope he continues to improve, hopefully staying on Bologna (or another Serie A team) will allow him to do so.

Yeah, transfermarkt only has him down for 17 serie a games versus whoscored's 18. The transfermarkt figure also includes 4 international games where he didn't score, so yeah. His domestic form is pretty good. Especially when you include the fact that, unless you're a specialist super sub, numbers will be hard to come by when being subbed on a lot. Starting games regularly should see his ratio rise, I'd say.

Boakye pretty much has a goal every other game but that's in Serie B. Immobile has pretty disappointing stats with 300 minutes give or take between goals. And he is starting the vast majority of his games at Genoa. To be fair, Genoa are shithouse.
