Very pleased with this transfer. I've seen him quite often with the Azzurini. Looking at Bologna's other strikers, I can see him having a lot of playing time at Bologna. Plus Manolo is a badass name.

Oh, and good description by JuveJay.

That is if only these kids come out as stars on their own, which is rather unlikely, in most of the cases.

Udinese, Fiorentina and others will always have top players that we'll chase and IMO we'll use such kids to make that deal happen. A couple of years ago we didn't have that, we could never lower the price the way other clubs did.
While that may be true, you have to at least make the effort in the first place, and quite frankly for a while, that effort wasn't being made.

Say what you want about Marotta and Paratici, but I love what they have been doing in regards to investing in young players

It is not 11 million.

Atalanta is paying back 5.5 million for the co-ownership, and they are paying 2 million for the co-ownership of Troisi

Don't know the details of the deal, only read that " Juve completes 11 mil swoop for Gabbiadini "
maybe if you actually read the thread, and what seems like 10 different people spelling out the terms of it, then you would realize that it isn't 11 million :D

Trust me, if it were actually 11 million, I would have flipped my wig.
