Very Very good. I enjoyed that.
Class capture by Man U. Top draw player. I love Henrik Larsson. He is a true professional. I also thinks it will have a positive impact on Rooney.
Can anyone imagine Inter vs Man U final heading into last penalty kick, and up comes Henrik and Ibra to decide the game? And Henrik draws dagger to Inbra dreadful miss? Priceless.

Ever since he scored 40 or so goals in Scotland, from what I've seen people talked him up to be a world class goal scorer. I'm sorry, but Larsson is no friggin Shevchenko or Trezeguet. He wasn't even thaaat good for Barcelona, and whenever I personally saw him play he missied a bunch of chances. Now I'm not saying he's a bad player as obviously he can put in a good amount of goals, but I just don't understand this association with "world class." He's not a world class player, thats for sure. He's not even that good so I simply don't understand what people see in him.
Hopefully he'll have trouble in the EPL as well.

I respect your opinion, but I disagree with it, as my opinion is based on watching the player close up and in detail for over nine years.
The subject does allow for a high degree of subjective assessment, but Larsson also holds the record for scoring the greatest number of goals scored in European competition for any British team, and obviously this wasn't against Scottish defences, but Europes elite...including a goal against Juventus, and two against Porto in the uefa Cup Final.

I can understand where Andy's coming from.
Look at Sheva at Chelsea just now...not really doing as well as expected.
The English fans were expecting this amazing superstar , a goal scoring machine who only had to get within thirty-five yards of the goal and the ball was in the net...hasn't happened.
So now, all we get is, over rated, only good cause he played for a top team in a boring league so looked better than he was, and so on.
They want goals, but if you watch him long enough you see not only what he does with the ball, but what he does off the ball...Sheva makes so many chances for Drogba and the others at Chelsea with his passes and movement going forward that Drogba is now rated as the new Rush, but Sheva is classed as a waste of russian rubbles. You have to rate the player over the years, not just a season or two.

as you can see from my info, I'm in my Motherland for a year to work. I'm teaching at an English academy, then I'll be heading back Down Under in June. Where have you been my man?

I think Larsson had to leave Celtic to show that he wasn't just a big fish in a small pond...I think he succeeded
hmmm...I remember five, six chances...McGeady had a good shot as did Graveson, two or three headers, scrambles from corners, and Zurawski could have ended up with a hat trick if he wasn't out of form.

Always a good laugh seeing Rangers lose. Reason that boruc didn't have a save to make is that Calderwood plays so negatively until we go a goal behind.
As for your 'chances' i don't regard shots from 25 yards or scrambles as chances so by my definition there were only 3 clear chances and aberdeen had one in the last minute. Maybe you didn't see that as you may have left five minutes before the end like about 20,000 other tims did.
Celtic may have been limited to long shootie, but by your own admission your team played negatively...so why would you expect Celtic to have many goal line scrambles, or passing moves cutting through your ten man, at times, defence?
