Let me tell you what I think happened. I could be way off the line, or I could be wrong about some details, but here it is:

You're a G, Zach. Somehow, both you and Janna got lots of votes from the Cs. The Gs didn't dare to group themselves so early and they waited for someone else to get votes and join. It didn't happen. When it was clear that one of you and Janna will be lynched, someone (my guess would be Melo) decided to profit from that and make it more interesting. They knew that a G will die anyway, and that the other one will seem like a C, so some of you started voting Janna. Melo was the first one (you were already there). Sheik and Soren joined "just to make it a tie". Maybe not both of Soren and Sheik, but at least one is a G if you're a G.
Is this what happened? You sacrificed Janna in order to make you and a couple of them seem like civilians?

If Zach is a C, then surely most of the voters who voted against him on the first night are Gs who tried to save Janna.

If he's a G, then I'd search for the Gs primarily among those late Janna votes (Melo, Soren and Sheik)
