Why would he? I reiterate, the only ones who really stand to profit from knowing the jailor's identity are the Gs.

Letting someone in the game after it started doesn't make sense. Seeing as all roles have already been handed out, you could only be a C.

That's not true. The jailer could be key for the BG or D if they can discover who it is (obviously without revealing themselves as the jailer can be recruited)

Is there a vigilante in this game or just normal roles?

The jailer doesn't need to know who the D is. Actually, he should never know. The BG and the jailer need to work together, and that's after his (the BG) identity is confirmed. We're still in the first day and we shouldn't read much on Hoori's jailing for now.
