At midnight the last vote you gave is counted, provided it has been given after the start of the day (14:00 CET I think).

You can vote at any time during the voting period, but only your most recent vote counts. It wouldn't be fair to only allow it at midnight since some people can't be around then... that's why the voting period is so long.
