Why is the fee being rumoured so small? I cant imagine Lukaku being worth more than 20m?
So if JJ want 40m+ Lukaku they are valuing Vlahovic around 60m?
I wouldnt be surprised if we end up loaning Vlahovic out with option to buy for 20 mill

ok heres a question. Would you do this deal if the cash went towards buying Thuram (yes I know he’s worth more than 30m)

Sell zakaria and mckennie use cash to buy Kephren Thuram

Easy no. Yeah we will be stronger but I still dont think paying for Lukaku is something we should do. Unless the plan is to play him for a season and then send him to Al Ahli or whatever for the same amount of cash spent.
Anyway we are getting Lukaku and the money and we are not getting any kind of Thuram

Provide a better solution? :howler: :b81:

Surely, you must be taking the piss with that question.

Who says selling Vlahovic is the only way to raise funds? Also, I'd rather give Vlahovic to Bayern for 50-60 million than get Lolcacku on insane wages and 30 million back. Both in the ST and the LT this deal reeks of desperation and smells of putrid cow dung.
Still did not answer the question. You sell Vlahovic to Bayern. Who would you sign as the striker?

Instead of bitching and moaning can someone provide a better solution for striker to achieve these 2 absolutely necessary achievements next season?
1- raise funds
2- make CL
You speak of raising funds when the guy responsible of the Pogba debacle and the Sandro extension not only still has a job but he actually has final say on mercato deals. Surely you jest.

Jonathan David from Lille springs to mind. In 2-3 years, we can sell him for more.

The question you should be asking is why are we catering to the whims of an outdated shitcunt pseudo coach who shouldn't even be in a job and probably won't be here in 12 months. Then what? We're stuck with an obsolete fossilized lumbering oaf no one wants. Excellent strategy.

Jonathan David

If our management would give a crap they could go and make some scouting and find 2 or 3 players that could turn to be good and not to be very expensive.

But they rather go to the “easy and shot term” solutions like Lukaku which always end up in the same way… with us stuck having an old player with big wages that we can’t sell.

Juventus mercato is like a Groundhog day movie which never ends because we seem to never learn

I'm not. We still have to raise funds regardless of Allegri and his contract. Not sure how firing Allegri will solve the 2 problems I mentioned earlier.
Long term of course he needs to go.

You don't start looking for serious players the second week of August. Your parameters are an apology to a failing mgmt team. We should have had a clear and well articulated plan 6 months ago.
I thought we wanted to sell Vlaho for a shitload of money but PSG said no thanks. Also 6 months ago we didn't know which European competition we're playing in if any.

How do you solve the problem of raising funds?
If Allegri don’t want Vlahovic sell him… sell Zakaria… sell Mackenie… sell Alex Sandro… sell Bonucci… heck if Allegri don’t want him, sell De Winter which seems we will do… sell Soule.

the main problem here has never been to keep Vlahovic or not… I’m more than open to sell him if the club thinks he has no future here.

The main problem is to bring a player that is old and has 0 future and that by next year, when we fire Allegri (because we will) we will have to try (and fail) to sell him and get stuck again with an over paid player that we don’t want.

All because we seem not to see more than a year in the future every single freaking time!!!

We can do loan plus obligation type of deal.
It's better, but iirc we have to limit losses to 60m over 3 years which runs through 2025 so kicking it to next year wouldn't do much.
Unless we do a deal like Chiesa or Locatelli but I doubt cash strapped Ligue 1 clubs would go for that.

its funny to me how the “well nobody wants him so we can’t sell him” it’s the excuse that it’s find every time we can’t sell a player… ALWAYS!

There will always be teams that want to buy players that seem hard to sell…I mean, look at us!!! We are always buying players that nobody wants… surely there are more teams like Juventus.

Maybe… and just maybe… the problem is that we just can’t sell players.

Lol try selling shit on a high salary. Saudi Arabia is the only hope but even they have standards.
Somebody stupid doing crazy shit doesn't make it reasonable all of a sudden.
