Lukapoo is the biggest donkey in football selling vlahovic then buying him would make zero sense other than allegri wanting someone more physical up front . We are meant to be rebuilding but a move like this is just taking us further backwards. If we need sell vlahovic for financial reasons then fair enough but we should be buying someone else young and cheaper not some old waste of space like lukapoo

Lol of course Allegri would like a more physical presence up front. Now it all makes sense. Physicality and defensive potential is all he cares about.

who was the last technically sound player we bought? besides di maria as a stop gap, that is. chiesa? he's probably the only one since the ronaldo signing. one can argue ramsey and arthur are technical players but they are barely professional athletes lol

picking physical players over technical ones has been a jj thing for a while and allegri only makes it worse. we wouldn't sign dybala if he was 22 now. which is a bummer because you don't watch football to watch the rabiots and keans, you watch the game for the chiesas, di marias and dybalas (providing they are available that is)

The problem is, who will create for Lukaku to score? Only Kostic and maybe Chiesa the right wingback? The problem isnt the striker, we dont have creative force upfront like we used to in the past..

Btw I would rather have Morata back for 10m than Lakaka for 40m and those wages.

Kessie on loan with option is not bad.

I think the idea is for Cheisa to partner up with Lukaku up front as a second striker. Weah and Kostic as wingback in a 5 man midfield.

Yeah I posted that Giuntoli had spoken with Conte, whats more worrying is the possibility of Conte coming back as well.

Conte instead of Allegri? We would win the Scudetto but dont expect anything in Europe (not because of Conte, because we are definitely miles away from playing at that level)

I dont like Chiesa as a SS, I would prefer him as a winger in a 4-3-3 and I think he would prefer that aswell.

But I agree with you, I think Max sadly is going for 3-5-2 with Chiesa upfront.
