Well Del Neri doesn't boast a great list of honours just like Ranieri so they are level at this, but you forget that this guy Ranieri did manage some great sides over the years like valencia and chelsea and he won nothing with them... WoW... you forget we're talking about Ranieri- mr. Runner-up... don't be fooled by the second place Roma achieved last season... he can't win anything!
It was right for us to sack him as his respect with the players and fans was lost at the second half of his last season with us. He was the right man for the job for building a team again after returning back to Serie A, that's it.
The problem is that after his sacking, we are still employing average managers instead of great ones who would take us to another level.

I think both have different style about them (can't really compare they're track record cause both pretty much haven't won titles).
Ranieri is more of a cautious manager. He'll do whatever the owners will tell him to do (pretty much a weak character). I don't like his type and IMO you can't go far with him no matter how long he stays in the club.
Del neri takes more risks, a tough character (he benched Cassano last season even though he's the "star" of the team and they're main guy). Personally if i had to choose between the two i'll definitely pick Del neri over Ranieri.
Plus i really liked Del neri's Chievo team which was one of the best attacking teams in the league few years ago.
All in all, to me del neri > ranieri any day....

I haven't seen much of Del Neri's teams to be honest. I just followed Sampdoria last season and I thought he was decent. Ranieri exceeded expectations with us when we finished 3rd and 2nd respectively in his years with us. For that I will be pleased for him.
Since Del Neri has never managed a big team throughout more than 1 season, it's difficult to compare the 2 of them. Till now, Ranieri is the better coach for me.

You forget that Del Neri was more easy to get than Deschamps... it's not just "click" and we get Didier... even though i remember one interview of his and he said he would love to come back to Juve, but it's not just his choice... i don't know, let's just give more time to Del Neri he managed Juve for just two official matches yet; after the season we'll see if he stays or not.
