well gino said this after the inter game, i posted it in the live thread but ill post it here as well.

The Juventus coach, Gigi Delneri does drama after the defeat of the measure remedied in the first game of the Tim Trophy. Here are his statements to the microphones of Channel 5:

Delneri, what did you like and what did not like it in this first race ...
"Well, we played 45 minutes, we did play even players who have little minutaggio. Sneijder has done a great goal, nothing to say."

From the tactical point of view is what you expected?
"We must improve, be more aggressive, but that will come with time, during periods when we are physically better."

Felipe Melo? Fell today ...
"It was the first game after 16 days, has never played a game. But is it also Grygera for Trezeguet, still need to do something. The pace of game are different, we hope to do better in the second."

Del Neri: 'Diego could go, but...'

Reports insist Juventus will sell Diego to Wolfsburg, but Gigi Del Neri warns “he gives us the quality we are otherwise lacking.”

There was a bidding war in the Bundesliga for the Brazilian, but Schalke 04 appear to have pulled out, leaving a potential deal with Wolfsburg for €16m.

Is Diego on his way out? We never considered him like that,” said the Coach after last night’s double Trofeo TIM defeat.

He is at the centre of a transfer situation that can evolve positively or negatively. But he knows that we have great faith in him and the important thing is that he proves he deserves to stay and wants to stay.

“Certainly, if he continues playing like this then he is someone who gives us the quality we are otherwise lacking.”

Diego impressed in the Trofeo TIM, but could not prevent a 1-0 defeat to Inter and loss to Milan on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

It’s only normal that Inter are a step above us, especially as we fielded five or six lads who have practically never played this summer,” continued Del Neri.

It was something we had to do in order to gain match fitness. We did better against Milan with a few who had played in the Europa League and important friendlies with Lyon and Hamburg.”

I know, however if Diego wants to leave which it seems so considering Marottas and Del Neris statements then he should go.
Diego said many times that he wants to stay with us and that he feels quite comfortable here. He has a desire to fight and prove himself.
The only one talking about his departure are media.
I don't think we can sell him for 30-40 mil and the below 20 mil price is ridiculous so I think he is going nowhere.

it makes no sense that diego is being looked at in a transfer deal. Fine, you want Dzeko..use diego dont get krasic and Dzeko has no one to create anything for him. Del piero and IQ are not good enough anymore...this really makes no sense.

Im really starting to think Del Neri and Marotta were both a really bad choice to being to the club.

Sell giovinco and diego, keep trez, amauri, iaquinta, camo....buy pepe and martinez....besides bonucci and motta who have all the potential to be good, their work so far has been dismal.

Cassano: "Del Neri is a great tactician and the team they are building for him is perfect for his ideas. You’ll see that in May if they are not on top of the table, they’ll be right up there with Inter. Behind them I see Roma and Milan on level terms."
