some here think that pellegrini to Juve was a done deal let alone making any contact with him at all. How do any of you know that he would be prepared to agree to join? or meet his demands, if he said no then what? tell me? then what?

People here were convinced hiddink was comming, same with benitez? guess what we couldn't even match their demands, so whats to say pellegrini was any different?
there is a big speculation that Pellegrini will sacked after CL Final and Mou set his decision to leave Inter. So Pellegrini will be jobless, he can come here if we offer him the position. What's wrong with wait for one week to have another alternative as coach and Del Neri's contract in Samp will expire anyway

“Marotta will report back to general manager Jean Claude Blanc and is in charge of the entire sporting and medical wing of the club,” read a statement.

Just hope they're better than the one we've been having for 3 seasons now.
Will it have an impact? There is no chance in the medical or physio staff, just Marotta has responsibility leading and managing medical wing of the club

Coaches like Del Neri always end up fired. They should just have cut their losses and hired a coach we're they can't think "oh, we need a better coach". Now, if anything goes bad they're going to blame it on Del Neri for not being good enough or enough of a winner.

If the board is looking for an improvement over Zacch then they have got their man.

Overall he's a stop gap arrangement, Juve needs to look for some one more reputed once the CL spot for the next two seasons becomes consistent.

All the best Del neiri I know you are another Ranieri in the making but give your best, build a new outfit and knock out the loser mentality from the team first.

Surely there just weren't any other viable options. He is no different to Zac or Ranieri. Just a never was. He couldn't do worse then Zacherroni though.

Let's look on the bright side people; Luigi Of the Black only has a contract until 2012, which implies 2 seasons with this team. I firmly believe we can finish in the top 3 next year, partially because Serie A has become so weak, and in part due to the simple fact that logic stipulates that a season like the one we had this year occurs only once every 25-30 years!

The problem being Ranieri, Ferrara and Zacchoreni have all instilled the loser mentality in the team, the hangover cannot be overcome until a large section is rebuilt from the scratch. Its a mental barrier and it requires a coach with strong man management stills ala Fergie, Pep, Capello or Mourinho to break it.

Del Neiri would have funds but he's neither from the top brass to attract reputed players not capable of building a strong team with in a two year time period. He wont do that, even if given a five year contract its granted.

If he manages to fuse to gether some 6-7 players gelling along with seniors he has done his job.
