Luigi "Vergogna" Delneri (29 Viewers)

Finish the season with or without Del Neri?

  • Yes, keep Del Neri till the end of the season and then fire him

  • Fire Del Neri now and replace him with someone else till the end of the season

Tough call on del neri but i'll hope for the best.

I can't deny that i liked his Atalanta team. But this move seems bit weird and personally i didn't predict it at all....

So what your argument boils down to (again) is that he is an Italian coach so you don't like him?
I have nothing against an Italian coach if his name was Fabio Capello, Marcello Lippi or Carlo Ancelotti. What I do have problem with is that we're getting a 60 years old average coach who's never been a winner after having coaches like Ranieri, Ciro and Zach. What do they think, after Del Neri getting 4th place,( 25 years after his first season as a coach), now he's all that and he's going to turn this thing around? We just finished 7th(!!) in the league. Taking a gamble yet again with Del Neri isn't appropriate right now. We're settling for mediocrity. Instead of moving on to the next level after Ranieri, we've just taken a few steps back.

I don't see anything good in what just happened.

What happened during his time at Roma?

I was reading his Wiki page (I know not the most reliable) and it said that their poor form was "only partially" his fault.

He was awful there.

Prandelli was supposed to go there but his wife got sick so that went down the drain. Del Neri took his place and he was terrible. They conceded a lot and got sacked.

Morratti doesn't expect Mourinho to stay. Can't we just wait a little bit longer for Pellegrini?

And btw, watch Inter getting Benitez and Milan getting Pellegrini while we got Del Neri.

Even Prandelli would have been a better accomplishment than this guy.
Same same, trust me.

Formations can change during the match:

5-3-2 to 3-5-2
4-4-2 to 4-5-1 (4-2-3-1)
4-3-3 to 4-5-1 (4-2-3-1)
3-4-3 to 3-6-1

I don't think it's about the formation but more about the capability of a coach to field the right players to make his tactics work. At the end, most formations can be a success or a failure.

Personally, I have nothing against any formation as long as it's used considering the players' abilities (Lippi talk). :D
Totally true.

Inter might get Benitez, but I bet Milan end up going with Galli or Tassotti. They are not a wealthy team.
