Half Of Serie A Wants Cigarini And Dessena - Agent

Agent Giovanni Bia revealed how his clients, Parma midfielders Luca Cigarini and Daniele Dessena, are being chased by many top flight Italian teams.

It is a well known fact that Under 21 internationals Cigarini and Dessena have caught the attention of various teams, and will most likely leave Parma by the end of the season.

However, this time it was confirmed by their own agent, who disclosed the names of the teams who are after the Crociati jewels.

"They are the two most promising youngsters in Serie A," declared Bia to Firenzeviola.it. "Milan, Inter, Juventus and other prestigious Serie A teams all want them."

"They are players who are requested by all top teams in Serie A," he added.

"I think that Fiorentina are still interested in them, even though I haven't spoken to (Director of Sports) Corvino recently.

Bia then went on to reveal how Inter were very close to signing Dessena in summer.

"I can confirm that the player was very close to Inter in the last days of the August market, but Parma preferred to hang on to him," he said.

"However, at the moment, there is no option, neither with Inter, nor with any other team."

Cigarini wanted by Ranieri
Monday 24 December, 2007

Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri has reportedly asked the club to open negotiations with Parma over a proposed bid for Luca Cigarini.

The Under-21 international is one of Italy’s most promising central midfielders and is wanted by a host of the peninsula’s top clubs.

Although Inter, Milan and Fiorentina have shown an interest, Ranieri is keen on adding the player he bossed last term to his Juventus plans.

It’s alleged that the Turin giants will attempt to net the youngster in January or at the very least grab a summer option for the Azzurrini gem.

Cigarini is understandably keen to make the switch, but the Stadio Tardini outfit obviously want to keep hold of the £6m-rated prodigy.

“There has been some interest in Cigarini from all the big clubs, but he is an important player and he needs to concentrate on his future with us,” noted Parma chief Tommaso Ghirardi earlier this month.

“He will not be moving before June and he will give us a hand. We won’t be making any moves in January at all.”

The 21-year-old, a product of the club’s youth system, is currently tied to the inconsistent Ducali until June 2012.

That would be so stupid. If the kid is that good, we should definitely get him. But whu exchange him for two of our most promesing youngsters? Give the Almiron, Boumsong,... I don't care.
Agreed, maybe they are thinking loans/part-exchanges but still, it is just a rumour at this point. CR obviously knows him though so maybe there is something concrete from us..

True but Parma play the top Serie A sides obviously and if they are loaned up any higher how likely is it they will play?

Think the lower league status loan has worked OK for Giovinco and Marchisio.

Let's not get carried away since goal.com took this news from Tuttosport, and we all know how reliable they are.

You know what is so funny that all these young talents that we have: Nocerino, Chiellini, Giovinco, Marchisio were all brought in by Moggi. Juve please get rid of Secco (the only good transfer he has made has only been Iaquinta)

PS: I forgot to add that 50% of Criscito's rights were bought in 2004 by Moggi.

Secco is not THAT bad. A rumor is just that, a rumor. Doesnt mean it is true.
No, he is that bad, as he hasn't done anything useful whatsoever. Secco is a fucking fool who is like a pawn around a queen and a bishop.

He needs to get the fuck out of here. Piece of shit.

Marchisio was not brought by Moggi. But then again, Iaquinta was also a player Moggi was interested in.
