I never said I was better than anyone, I think there are a lot of people here who are fans of DP first and foremost, every thread about DP degenerates into pathetic name calling. I have never seen one proper discussion and debate on this forum where DP is involved.

That is why I said what I did, I'm just a bit sick of it.

And where did I say if a fan dislikes Capello he's not a Juve fan? It wasn't a general post which related to all Juve players, it was aimed at the DP fans. Everyone has a right to criticise or not like players, indeed that is exactly my point - if anyone criticises DP they get a load of immature abuse (usually) and it is annoying.

If the Curve Scirea want to criticise DP then let them, I don't agree with it - if they are not happy being 5 points clear of Serie A then that's their problem.

And to answer your question, no, I haven't stood on the Curva Scirea, but yes I have been and seen Juve play a few times. Not that that makes me any better or worse than anyone else, but just to answer your question.

Im sorry but that is unfair... There is continual abuse of our captain on this forum and has been by certain members for ages.
Apparently on this forum its ok to abuse and insult dp but if anyone reacts to it they are immature... see it from both sides please.

Virtually every thread here you find abuse of dp... there is very little criticism jus abuse.

Im sure if he was only criticised there would be very little reaction.. people get upset by the abuse he receives.

Obviously there are allways the odd poster that are the exception to that, but that comes from both sides and you will allways get the odd idiot.

As for your previous post you did maybe not intentionally but never the less you did come across all superior

As far as our captain goes, I think TRAP has been unfair to him.The only game I saw a poor DP was against Milan. I said after that game that DP may be done, but then I watched a few more games with Zlatan and realize that he is not YET the answer.....

Oh please, you have just returned from months leave, and you come back thinking you know what has been going on. You obviously have not seen what sort of inane arguements some fans make up here in an attempt to support Del Piero. Some 'fans' here suggest that Del Piero has been the best forward thus far in the season and call for him to start ahead of Zlatan, and lets not forget the famous "Del Piero should be played no matter what because he is Del Piero." After we show them the evidence against their claims, they resort to using inults against us, our coach, Fabio Capello, and even sometimes insults against Zlatan for "taking DP's spot." From what I have seen on these forums (and I have been around a lot longer than my post rate suggests) the abuse often comes from those who worship DP. Maybe I have misinterpreted it, I am perfectly capable of seeing both sides of the story - so I have no problem admitting my own view might have been 'clouded' and the abuse was from both sides. I perhaps unintentionally chose not to see it.

I would like to stress, I am not anti-DP, I admit he's never been a favourite of mine but I don't think his performances merit the criticism Capello has been receiving. If he had been inspirational when he played then fine, but he has been poor in my view (he sometimes produces against the smaller teams but never against the big ones - again this is only my opinion), and Capello has had every reason to sub him, and to start with Ibra and Trez.

I am disappointed with the Juve fans who booed Capello, personally I would like to see Capello stick around for as long as possible and hope these actions don't leave a sour taste in his mouth.

Capello is continually abused on this forum as well, even though we have the best record in the Champions League and are currently top of Serie A. He doesn't deserve the insults posted on this forum, and he surely does not deserve the booing from the Curva.

About DP, the idiotic insults tend to come from his "posse" on this forum.

See im not against this type of post, its an opinion, criticism ... nothing wrong with that.
But there is abuse which should not happen, and if it occurs from the otherside those of you that really want to discuss should rise above it.

I wouldnt but that has very little if anything to do with ale.. but thats another story.

As for fighters booing... no its part of the game and there rite todo so if they wish.

Thanks Andy, I have to say, some of the pro DP arguments on here have been absolutely insane. It is those people that my original point was aimed at, maybe I generalised too much and insulted some of the DP fans who do post sensibly.

I dont understand all this non-sense about Capello and DP...they are intelligent and smart professionals and the supposed problem between them is just a matter of gossip and bad faith....the two of them are needed by our team. Capello has keep the team wining and as long as it keep it that way, he is right in his choices.Alex is smart enough to understand it, and he knows he will get in as soon as Capello feel he is in shape...
