If it comes down to it and we don't win the league this season, I can live with that. We had to fill the shoes of those who left as well, and that wasn't easy of course. But to waste all that time on Draxler and leave the only request made by your coach to the last day was irresponsible, but apparently you can't fault the person in charge for that. He's faultless.

The most pressing issue wasn't addressed until the end, and instead of getting a quality starter for years to come, we got an Inter reject as our stop gap solution. Pathetic attempt by Marotta in all honesty. Dybala and Sandro were very solid buys, but Allegri needs a quality AM to make the 4-3-1-2 (his preferred formation) work. As things stand, both our midfield and attack are visibly weaker, and we are going to need a lot of luck to repeat as champions and negotiate a tough looking CL group.

I'm sorry but Dybala and Alex Sandro were anything but bargains. We paid a reasonable fee for Mandžukić and Zaza. We fail to get Draxler and do not pay 30 or more million for him and people say we look for bargains. Basically we are looking for anything that would strengthen the team.
