The difference is their price tag. Draxler would cost 36m while Hernanes costs 11m.
It hurts to see though, that we released our 30 year old on high wages (Llorente) for free, while Inter is recouping 11m for theirs
We could try to get draxler for 30. But we did for 15.

Your totally right with the last point. Llorente 0, hernanez 11. If doesnt makes any sense.

"meltdown..."

it is already like the icecream you bought and forgot in the car having 35 degrees outside.
a milky unhealthy soup that’ll make you throw up if you eat it.

Not saying that should we not win the league, Allegri should get a free pass, but to say that he'd be the sole reason is beyond pathetic and really one-sided. It's like it's Allegri's fault that we had this unnecessary revolution to the squad.

Is this the beginning of the end of our cycle?

/scared/
If it comes down to it and we don't win the league this season, I can live with that. It would serve as a good kick up the ass, reminding us we're not invincible in the league and we can't just go fuckitty la la and look for bargains 24/7 without the clubs beneath us taking advantage as some point.

Having said that, if we get the FUCK away from 5-3-2 and get our squad gelled, there's no reason we can't win the league. Assuming Roma are still the main threats, we're 4 points behind with 108 to play for.

just like allan.

btw italian media report that galliani tried to hack the hernanes deal.
Somehow, I wish he'd done that. A signing that stinks of desperation is more befitting of Milan tbh. They should have gotten Witsel as well. A sloth, a talentless leg breaking afro sporting douche, and a vagina as their midfield would have just been too hilarious.

All Allegri seemed to want was a big improvement at TQ but we went for an extreme makeover and somehow forgot to fix the only real problem we had.

We had to fill the shoes of those who left as well, and that wasn't easy of course. But to waste all that time on Draxler and leave the only request made by your coach to the last day was irresponsible, but apparently you can't fault the person in charge for that. He's faultless.

 :agree: The most pressing issue wasn't addressed until the end, and instead of getting a quality starter for years to come, we got an Inter reject as our stop gap solution. Pathetic attempt by Marotta in all honesty. Dybala and Sandro were very solid buys, but Allegri needs a quality AM to make the 4-3-1-2 (his preferred formation) work. As things stand, both our midfield and attack are visibly weaker, and we are going to need a lot of luck to repeat as champions and negotiate a tough looking CL group.

I'm sorry but Dybala and Alex Sandro were anything but bargains. We paid a reasonable fee for Mandžukić and Zaza. We fail to get Draxler and do not pay 30 or more million for him and people say we look for bargains. Basically we are looking for anything that would strengthen the team.

Give away 30 year old Llorente for free. Buy 30 year old Hernanes for 11 mil.

Maybe we can give Hernanes away for free next year too.
Suddenly the cuadrado deal looks like we signed Juan Mata on a Bosman.

Getting owned by the two clubs I hate more than everything, during the course of one summer. I can't remember last time I felt that much of football related rage

I don't mind Hernanes as a stop gap solution but paying over 10 mil for this guy is just stupid.

Only problem is, Inter already knows how desperate are we right now and they'll try to milk us for every Euro in this deal.

Sure hope Marotta don't go on a full panic mode on this deal.
